Welcome to Grundelphia!
This map contains 3 cities and 4 towns. The main city (Grundelphia) is based on Philadelphia, PA with hints of the original Grundorf map. The second city (Water Harbor)is based on Jersey City with hints of Camden (both in New Jersey), and finally the 3rd City (Sanyo County) is just completely made up. All three cities have many bus routes that run based on the era.
This version requires OMSI 2 Chicago to Run. If you do not have the Chicago add-on for OMSI 2, this map will not work. Please get the 0.5 version instead

---WARNING: The Chicago Add-on IS Required for this Release---
Once you're tired of playing OMSI Chicago, you can now start installing the required files; First up is the New Flyer Powertrain Mod, Provided in this thread:http://w11.zetaboards.com/bacon/topic/11464102/1/
THEN you have to download the SEPTA/NJ Transit repaint pack, provided in this thread:http://w11.zetaboards.com/bacon/topic/11464120/1/
Thirdly, you must download the scenery objects and splines. That is provided via this link right here:https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B1LTdmnArEAAazRKM244Um0tY0E/view?usp=sharing
Lastly, the actual map.https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B1LTdmnArEAASVVsYnlpOFVINXc/view?usp=sharing
You will also need the RTS for AI. (optional)
Installation instructions
Since the actual map comes with installation instructions, just refer to that to install the map. If you don't know where the OMSI 2 install is, here's a simple wayto find out:
• If you have any 64 bit Windows OS, your OMSI 2 folder would be:C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\OMSI 2
• If you have any 32 bit Windows OS, your OMSI 2 folder would be:C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\OMSI 2
If neither location exists for you, check your Steam settings and check where youhave your Steam files set to install. Since OMSI 2 is a Steam game, its operation depends heavily on Steam.
Additional/Recommended add-ons
I also want to thank the creators of Daytonford, Great Grundorf 2, and Willshire as most of the ideas, objects, and splines used in Grundelphia came from them. If you're missing any objects on your end and you downloaded all the required files in the first map, I highly recommend you install those as those were the only maps I had installed at the time of development.
==============================
Please note that if you do NOT have Chicago, but still wish to play the Grundelphia Map, I have re-opened the links to Grundelphia v0.5 but be warned that not only is this version no longer supported, but the Chicago patch that comes with it is broken so don't use that when you do eventually buy the Chicagoadd-on All the required files for 0.5 are included but you will also need to download Daytonford, Great Grundorf 2, and Willshire in order to run it properly (as a few objects from those maps are not included in the download).
First Run
The first time you run Grundelphia, you may notice that the map does not show up in the drop down menu. This is because for stability reasons, a “last situation” was not included with Grundelphia. In order to start the map and do your first run,you must select “load map without buses” and THEN search the drop down menu. If the map still does not show up, make sure the map folder within OMSI 2exists. If it does not, you installed the map incorrectly. You should reinstall it.
It's recommended that you have your draw distance set to less than 400 and you de-select “load whole map at start” for this map as you will likely encounter lag otherwise.
Starting a Route
In the DBC Edition of Grundelphia, starting a route can be done with or without a schedule. The bus stop helpers show you which route/destination would stop at the bus stop. If the bus stop helper says something like this:126 Hoboken (Terminus)126 GrundelphiaThat means the route/destination with (terminus) would terminate at that particular bus stop. The route/destination without (terminus) would start there. Soin this case, the route 126 to Hoboken would terminate at this bus stop. To do thereturn trip, you would have to set the sign to 126 to Grundelphia.
The best way to get to the starting point of a route is to follow the helper arrows for a route until you see a bus stop helper that looks. The next section will tell youwhich IBIS code/roll-sign to put up on each route

This section lists all the route and destination codes used for Grundelphia routes. In some cases, certain routes only operate in certain eras.Note: roll-sign readings are approximate in format and may display differently. Look out for key words in the rollbands instead of the format itself

Chicago Citybus/New Flyer Run Instruction
To understand why runs are set up in such manner, you must understand that for the Chicago Citybus/New Flyer there are two Hof files/depots:
• Grundelphia: This one is used by default and fully utilizes the the “scrolling matrix”signs. There is no further use to this depot file other than to look pretty as thefare-box is also visible. In the AI, you may also occasionally hear the PR (PublicRelations) messages from the Chicago map.
• Grundelphia (fixed): Contrary to the name, the original depot is not actually brokenbut rather this version fully uses the functionality of the bus at the cost of displayinga scrolling matrix or a fare-box In order to get a run number, you must first select anew bus with the depot "Grundelphia (fixed)" This enables the run number systemon the user end and allows the use of the automatic announcements.
Now keeping in mind that there are two different depot files used for this map by the Chicago Citybus/New Flyer, we must first create a new bus to use the “fixed” depot
Continued on the next page
After selecting the depot file, you must then select a schedule. Remember the number/letter combination that is provided in the schedule is NOT going to be your run number. Regardless of how similar it looks.
Finally, a run number will automatically generate for you. You must log into the clever device using the ID, password, and run number provided on the yellow card to the left of the steering wheel. No other key combinations will work on the clever device due to how it was scripted (once again, I'm not the one who made the buses. This wasn't my choice).
Route Introduction
So some routes in Grundelphia operate depending on the year. They can basically be summed up in two eras: Classic Era and Modern Era. The Chrono based routes basically are the original routes in Grundelphia with the Modern Era routes being modified versions of the Classic Era routes. However, there are some routes that also run in both eras. These routes will operate regardless of the year.

Classic Era Routes
These are routes that only operate in the Classic Era. The Classic Era takes place between September 1968 and March 9th, 2003. For the most part, these “Era” routes are only serve the University City/Grundorf area

Modern Era
These are routes that only operate in the Modern Era. The Modern Era takes place after March 10th 2003. These routes are basically extensions of the classic era routes that take place due to the destruction of the Idell Street Apartments that previously severed Wayne Avenue between Brown and Idell.

Thank you for downloading and running Grundelphia for OMSI 2. For more information about Grundelphia as well as future projects from Dash5155, check out my website at http://w11.zetaboards.com/bacon or drop an email at [email protected]
If you wish to donate as a way to say thanks for this project (which would basically go towards developing more projects), use this PayPal link:

I recommend that supporters of the Grundelphia map join up on the forums: as that's the best way to learn about future updates and patches. As well as reporting bugs and asking for help (since that's my website and I'm the developer, chances are I can give the best help).
