Communication• Email(please allow 24 hours for
response)• Notes in the agenda• Dismissal changes- These are
best in their folders in the morning. These must be on dismissal change forms which are available on the school website, our classroom websites, or in the front office.
Important Procedures• Please check your child’s agenda and initial
each night.• Reading book will come home each night and
should be returned to school each day.• Please refer to the weekly newsletter and
class website to answer any questions you may have. We put all IMPORTANT information there. This includes dates, deadlines, and procedures.

We learn about music through singing, playing instruments, movement, and games!Our instruction is based on the General Music Georgia Performance Standards.Students will attend music classes once per week and should dress comfortably. Donations of sanitizing wipes are welcome!

Snack and LunchSnack: Please send healthy snacks for your student each day. Please try to stay away from cookies, candies, and chips. Water only in a secure bottle.
Spills are a daily occurrence.

Math • Read 20 minutes each night• Due Friday to allow flexibility in your evening schedules

We are also implementing the book, Have you Filled a Bucket Today? into our daily behavior. Please ask your child about this. They love filling up each other’s invisible buckets.
Class Shirts• Each class will have a specific
color class shirt. These shirts will be worn on special days like field day.
• If you have not purchased a class shirt for your child, the cost is $10. The deadline is August 28th. This is the only opportunity to order this year!
