“What I loved most about the Sogang Summer Program was the unique things I experienced and the family I found with it. The first hours after landing in Korea, I felt lost, as I had little knowledge of the language and culture. In a month, I’ve learned the Korean
language, culture and History not only in classrooms but with locals on the field, and I even fell in love so badly with Korea that I ended up staying at Sogang university to
become fully fluent in Korean and get my degree! “Éloïse Lavoie-Dufour (Canada)
“It was wonderful to be able to meet so many amazing people from various countries who all wanted to learn more about South Korea. The friendships and memories I made are ones that I wouldn’t be able to make anywhere else. Thank you Sogang for allowing me to have such an unforgettable experience! “Helen Dempsey (United States)
“It was the best four weeks of my life in Seoul. There are a variety of exciting activities offered by the program. You can feel free to join and participate in any additional
programs such as Buddy program to learn Korean and explore Seoul, one of the culturally richest place in the world. I feel much more mature, and my exposure to many
international students during this program has sparked my curiosity for Korean people and cultures. This is truly a once in a lifetime opportunity. Please, do yourself a favor.”
Alex Yu (Canada)
“The Sogang Summer Programm is an amazing opportunity to dive into the Korean culture, learn about the language, society and history, meet great people, visit important historical places during field trips and make lifetime memories. I want to come back next year.”Erika Bohrandt (Hungary)
“I could overcome hot weather of Korea with Summer Program in Sogang for it being so fun and entertaining. I enjoyed all the activities and classes. With many friends from different countries, I could learn a lot about different cultures. I wish many students to join the program next time!”Seunghwan Ryu (South Korea)
“The Sogang Summer Programm gave me an amazing opportunity to explore Korea and its beautiful culture whilst being able to meet many friends from different countries. The University definitely took great care of us, and the courses and field trips were very well
designed and organised so I managed to learn a lot about Korea and its history and culture within the month-long duration. Would love to be back for more!”
Kenisha Tho (United Kingdom)
“I traveled to S. Korea a few years ago and enjoyed so much about the Korean people and the city of Seoul, but it was incredible to be involved in the SISP program and get more
acquainted with Korean culture and history. The program is intense, but you learn a ton and get to see a lot through the program itself and through Sogang's Buddy Program, which lets
you hang out with students of the university and see sights that you might not have otherwise. I highly recommend this program if you want to sharpen your Korean language
skills and enjoy some parts of Korea you may not have seen before at the same time”Joshua Wheatley (United States)
