MAJOR ADVANTAGES OF PRESENT RSS WITH LWD SERVICES
• Real time monitoring of ABI (At bit inclination) & ABG (At bit gamma) (just 1.26m from bit)
• Real time monitoring of ECD (Equivalent circulating density) & Annular pressure. Better understanding of hole condition.
• More accurate LOT/PIT value
• Swift gathering of logs before formation contamination (Before Drill fluid ingress)
• Real time log gathering will lead to Dynamic steering of the well in future.

OBSERVATIONS FOR USING RSS IN IN-HOUSE RIGS
• Communication lines to be installed between MWD cabin & Driller for prompt
communication during Downlinking.
• Demarcation and safe keeping of RA.
•Since Hydra not present in In-house rigs, multiple handling by crane is needed.
•3 nos of 1502 connections at “H”-Manifold. (1 no-Geo Span, 02 nos –Tranducers)
•Availability of space for Programming of all tools together.
