Thinking Ahead: Before CPSI
Get to know the Adam’s Mark
• All CPSI workshops will be held at the Adam’s Mark Hotel in downtown Buffalo.
• The hotel has a fitness center and a pool, so bring your swimsuit!
What to WearDress at CPSI is casual: business casual, comfort casual or just casual.
*Note: some events at night are slightly more dressy, such as the CPSI auction.

by Train: Take the Amtrak train to the Buffalo - Exchange Street (BFX)Station. From here it's just a 3 minute cab ride to the Adam's Mark.
Free Shuttle: Saturday, June 19, Sunday, June 20 & Friday, June 25The Niagara Majestic shuttle will make stops every hour on the hour at the airport.• Saturday – 1st shuttle of the day will depart at 9:00am & the last at 7:00pm.• Sunday – 1st shuttle of the day will depart at 9:00am & the last at 8:00pm.• Friday – 1st shuttle of the day will depart from the Adam’s Mark at 10:00am & the last at 5:00pm.

Upon Arrival1. Check into your room and get settled.
• The registration desk will be open:– Saturday, June 19th 10am – 5pm– Sunday, June 20th 8am – 8pm– It opens at 8 am Monday

2. Register in the Grand Hall.
• We call the Grand Hall “The HUB” –it’s our central gathering place.
3. Orient yourself – find the room where your first session will be held.
Part 3 – Programs:The Week at CPSI
The main part of your day will be attending your Full Week Program.
Open PACE Sessions
To compliment your full week program, there are over 60 evening PACE workshops (90 minute elective sessions) to choose from.
Pre & Post Conference Workshops
Get a head start or extend your week at CPSI with 1 day Pre or Post Conference Workshops that cover a variety of unique topics.
CPSI YouthWise
The CPSI® youth learn the excitement of creative thinking and the thrill of solving difficult problems.
Tony Baxter, Walt Disney Imagineer and our keynote speaker, will also be conducting a session with YouthWise.
Older participants will learn the basics of the Osborn-Parnes Model, while younger children learn foundation skills in divergent and convergent thinking.

CPSI AuctionThis year we have 8 scholarship students coming to CPSI thanks to proceeds from the 2009 auction.
Money raised during the auction supports the YouthWiseCurriculum Development Program, which will make CPS available to thousands of young people through their schools.

The PubRelax during happy hour – grab a drink at the Pub or get involved in a variety of activities.
A DJ provides nightly entertainment in the Pub on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
Each year, new (and often unexpected!) activities pop up at CPSI

Between 1850 and 1863, the Underground Railroad movement helped 70,000 slaves escape and journey safely northwards into Canada and subsequent freedom. The city of Buffalo played a leading role in the Underground Railroad movement, as one of the last stops before fugitive slaves could be considered free men.
