I graduated from UC Riverside when my students were born 2009.
This is my second year as a Full time teacher.
This is my second year teaching Kindergarten
I have two younger brothers who live in Orange County
I also have a dog named Gomi.

when a student hurts another student) Red: Conference with parents and the principal
Parent Communication
I am more than happy to speak with parents before or after school. If you would like to make a conference please speak with the teacher directly and set up a time that would work for both the parent and me.
I will be communicating with parents through a blog that each teacher will be updating.
Also through handouts that will be sent home.

Healthy Snack (Bocadillos Nutritivos) As we deeply care for
the nutrition of our students, all students must bring in a healthy snack. Water- (please send
refillable water bottle)

Homework
Homework is distributed on Monday and returned on Friday.
Includes: A reading log One assignment for each day
Attendance
Attendance is taken daily Please notify the school the same day if
your child is going to be absent. An absence note is required the following
day. One will be provided by the teacher for you to fill out.
If your child is absent more than two days, a Dr.’s note must be provided.
Daily attendance is very important in order not to let your child fall behind.
Parent Volunteer
We welcome all parent volunteer. Please take some time to fill out our survey
so the Room Parents and I can make a schedule for our volunteers. Once we have set a schedule, we will contact you with a day and time. Please note that teacher will ask for assistance
in clerical and/or helping out in the classroom. Note: When volunteering you may be asked
to assist other teachers other than your child's
Field Trips
Our first field trip!! The LA Zoo October 10th: 8:30am- 2:45pm I need 3 volunteers to come for the whole
day This field trip will be provided by the
school!! Donations to help with the cost and to help
us go on future trips would be greatly appreciated!! Please let me know. Other field trips: City Walk, KinderWalk, Fire
station, and much more

Go over alphabet and sounds Practice reading and writing sight words How to write their first and last name If your child is having difficulties adjusting to
school, a suggestion is to set up a routine at home. Routines are a daily thing in Kindergarten and it is important that students recognize and follow routines.
Regular communication with the teacher. We are here to work together for one common goal to help your child succeed.
