Getting to Know You
Kindergarten DirectoryIf you would like your contact information to be
included in the Kindergarten Directory, please complete the form by August 31st (or ASAP).
WHY a directory? Teachers are not allowed to let students pass out invitations or other materials to
each other, so this allows families to connect for birthdays, playdates, walks, learning fun, etc.
EGE School Wide Expectations - SOAR

Behavior
Classroom Expectations:During the first weeks of school, we will create a classroom pledge together to describe what actions and values best fit ‘our family’. These will also align with SOAR expectations.
MY Behavior System: In my room, I use “Positive Behavior Interventions and Support” to encourage students to develop independence, responsibility, trying their best, and helping others when we can. My PBIS approach is a ‘move up’ system instead of ‘move down’ system. Students are encouraged and praised for displaying positive habits without being prompted.

Tiny Paws Service Learning Project
We will be fostering a litter of newborn puppies found without a mommy dog - known as bottle babies.
Service learning connects students with the world we live in outside of school. It provides students with opportunities to grow and develop as empathetic,
organized, interpersonal, problem solving members of our community.
We will be fostering our puppies through Rescued Pets Movement (RPM). RPM will find and place them in loving homes after 8 weeks of
age. Find out more at rescuedpetsmovement.org
