Called Business Meeting TODAY at 5PM to vote on the Leadership Directory

Church-Wide Committees Training

To prevent confusion and frustrations that have happened in the past when new committees (and new committee

members) begin their responsibilities, we will be having a very important “Church-wide Committee Training Day” on Saturday, August 24th, from 8:30 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. If you are approved by the church on August 11th to serve on any

Loris FBC committee, we are asking you to come to the Fellowship Hall on August 24th at 8:30 AM. If you served on

a committee LAST YEAR, even if you are rotating off this year, we are asking you to please come to the Fellowship

Hall at 10:00 AM to assist in helping our new committees get off to a good start by participating in a brief “turn over” meeting with your replacement to make sure they know

what you and your committee has been doing and (according to your experienced opinion) SHOULD be doing in the new

year. Please attend this training and help us do a better job of loving those who volunteer to serve the Lord and this church

by giving them a great start as new committees begin working for the 2019-2020 Church Year. (Philippians 2:4)
