Teaching Apprenticeship

Individually designed based on student’s past teaching experience. Suggest taking this in two semesters. Students will have to demonstrate broad based competences in pedagogy.

Page 27: WELCOME Rehabilitation Sciences Doctoral Program Faculty and Students

Teaching Apprenticeship

You are responsible for completing the TA form signed for your file to the DGS

Must be turned in by the end of the 1/3 of the semester in which you are enrolled

Page 28: WELCOME Rehabilitation Sciences Doctoral Program Faculty and Students

Research Apprenticeship

Individually designed experience based on the student’s past research experience. Suggest taking this in several semesters. Students will have to demonstrate broad based competences in research design and methodologies.

Time to Qualifying Examination

• Graduate School Council has voted to limit time to Qualifying Examination to 5 years for students starting Fall 2005 & after:– One year extension may be obtained from

the Dean of the Graduate School (this should be easy to obtain, but anything more than one year will be very difficult)

Page 36: WELCOME Rehabilitation Sciences Doctoral Program Faculty and Students
