The darkest, funniest and most debauched variety show in town. Hosted by the deliciously salacious, utterly hilarious, multi-award winning queen of kink Bernadette Byrne (EastEnd Cabaret).

The infamous Mistress of Mayhem and London Cabaret Award winner Bernadette Byrne is here to shake up the Royal Croquet Club with her dysfunctional family of misfits, miscreants and fantastic freaks. Welcome to The Little Death Club!

Join us for an hour of dangerously funny cabaret, sideshow and burlesque at its most inappropriate and hilarious best. With a rotating, hand picked line up of the hottest acts including notorious strumpet and hula hooping sensation Jess Love (La Soirée), twice Barry award nominated ‘Sexual Gentlemen’ Asher Treleaven and the queen of Australian Burlesque Kelly-Ann Doll (Performing Artist of the year, RAW Awards).

Jamie MacDowell & Tom ThumOne is good with his fingers, the other is good with his mouth. Tom Thum, a one-man orchestra - best known for the most watched TEDx talk of all time - joins bohemian singer-songwriter, Jamie MacDowell, to form an award-winning partnership that is “redefining musical parameters” (Nouse).

Armed only with a guitar, a distinctive singing voice and a versatile voicebox able to convey any instrument, this duo is unique. Tom’s heavy hitting, world-class beatboxing, accompanies Jamie’s brand of heartfelt songwriting and melodic fingerwork. Playing off each other’s talents, Jamie MacDowell and Tom Thum are the perfect musical match and their live show is made even stronger by their utterly irresistible charm and wit.

FaunaFive acrobats, a musician, and an alternate world. Fauna takes you on a journey through a fictional realm, introducing you to the characters that live there and their own imaginative animal kingdom. With high level acrobatics, set to an ever evolving live soundtrack, you will leave in disbelief questioning whether what you just saw really happened. Previously, the members of Fauna have presented award winning fringe shows both individually and within other collaborations (‘A Simple Space’ 2014-2015; ‘Cadence’ 2015), and have chosen the Adelaide Fringe for the world premiere of their new show.

Ever wondered what wine goes best with Fairy Bread? Why hasn’t the ‘Champagne Spider’ caught on? These questions and many more will be inadequately answered by the self-styled sommeliers of comedy, Damian Callinan & Paul Calleja.

After intoxicating sold out audiences in 2016, The Wine Bluffs are back, doing what they do best: bullshitting about wine. Laying spurious claim to a reputation as renowned wine consultants, the duo, fresh from judging the Fruit Wine Section at The Rockhampton Show, will take the audience through the cellar door experience with a comedic twist.

#FirstWorldWhiteGirls: Botox Party! You’re invited to the most outrageous party in town! Grab a botox cocktail and join Tiffany and Madison for a paralysis-inducing hour of egos, confessions, celebrities and backstabbing in this celebration of first world vanity.

Take a peek into the lifestyles of the rich and heinous, set to a soundtrack of original comic songs exploring #firstworldproblems – quinoa enemas, designer dogs, accidental sexting and the Refugee Diet.

For Love or MoneyHHHHH“ Sass, pizazz and a few hints of bogan.”~ T H E C L O T H E S L I N E

The Ginger and Tonic girls are still struggling in love, but that’s not going to stop them being the awesome women that they are. They’re shifting their focus towards the business world, and they have big ideas – huge ideas – to make big bucks! Or do they…? Using their powerful voices and tight harmonies, this time the girls are pitching in more ways than one, hoping to find success in this dog-eat-dog world.

“ Inspired silliness. If you’re a fan of Tim Minchin or Sammy J, you’ll like this show.”

~ A U S T R A L I A N S T A G E

Do you have thoughts that lie beneath the surface? That you can’t say out loud? Thoughts that might be a little... impure? Claire does. And she’s going to sing about it.

This ‘hobbit sized and burning with energy’ [Great Scott] gin soaked anti-diva has removed what little of her internal filter she had left, dispensed with any lady like notions remaining and is ready to get it all out there in front of a room full of strangers. In the most impure way she could think of. Through song.

Josh GlancmanfülFresh from a sell out season and ‘best comedy’ nomination, Josh Glanc follows up last year’s smash hit ‘99 Schnitzels’ with his latest creation, Dicky Rosenthal – the hyper-masculine, image-conscious ‘American beefcake’. Combining high-wired silliness and subversive social observation, manfül is one of this year’s must-see shows. Absurd, insightful and achingly funny!

HHHH“ Casus has taken up permanent residence in the hearts of Fringe-goers, and rightly so.”

~ T H E S C O T S M A N

As we drift along the current of life we are shaped by the humans we encounter. The stories of our loved ones, our enemies, and complete strangers guide us and determine the person we become.

In this colourful and turbulent concoction of pure joy and intimacy, watch Casus bring a blank canvas to life and reveal our innate need for human contact. To feel is to be human and in a moment of danger, a grasping hold is survival.

The unique acrobatic shapes, signature to Casus Circus, abound in this journey of explosive encounters, hidden looks, and humorous discoveries.

Set in a nightclub and underscored by electro-pop music, SLUMBER follows a breathtaking girl squad of elite circus performers and dancers on the last night of their lives. Featuring choreography by Keone and Mari Madrid, the show takes the audience on a terrifyingly fun ride as they watch best friends get killed off by one of their own. Who lives? Who dies? You decide.

For three nights only Winter Witches will debut high energy original songs with a queer, gender fluid and cruelty-free agenda. They are an art pop experience. They make POP Sabbath. Imagine Chicks on Speed meets Depeche Mode meets The Knife crossed with the long lost electro-punk bearded Minogue twins, you’re somewhere in the vicinity of Winter Witches.

Support act The Church of Warm Meat, featuring live projection and original dance music to elevate and seduce.

Winter Witches80’s made - Totally! This one-man-show is a wild mix of 80’s-Dance-Hits with Peter’s childhood photos and anecdotes about growing up in 80’s Austria. Mum’s kitchen-radio always blasting the latest chart toppers becoming his life soundtrack. Let’s dance step by step to where girls just want to have fun and boys didn’t cry.

Will you participate? Will you be manipulated? Will you listen? Will you really listen?

With no rehearsals, no director, a different actor each night, and a script waiting in a sealed envelope on stage, internationally acclaimed White Rabbit Red Rabbit, by Iranian writer Nassim Soleimanpour, is an audacious theatrical experiment and a potent reminder of the transgressive and transformative power of theatre.

Katie, a girl with autism, lives with her sister Hannah and her (imaginary) dog Paul Williams in a remote costal town. Did you know that your name alone has enough rhythm to create the sounds of a drum kit? Have you ever considered the sound of a passing bus to be the same as an opera singer’s voice? Do you ever look at a vegetable and wonder what it might sound like?!

Award-winning multi-instrumentalist Adam Page takes you on a journey through a normal day - exploring its sounds and finding the music in everything from brushing your teeth to falling asleep! You’ll walk out of the performance with a newfound love of music that surrounds us in the most random of things.

The Working Class is a large scale, site-specific photographic exhibition by award winning Australian photographer Aaron Bradbrook.

This gritty and raw new series documents the extreme yet often euphoric realities of what is means to be an artist working at the world’s largest arts festivals: the Adelaide and Edinburgh Fringe festivals. However, unlike common production photography, this series focuses on the moment the artist exits the stage after performing. Sweaty and dirty, the artist emerges seeping with exhaustion and emotion.
