will stay at the track

until NASCAR officials

make an official decision to postpone the race and re-

schedule it or we have an unanimous decision from our

tour clients to go back to the hotel. We will then im-

offer transfers back to the Sprint Cup race. There is

generally an additional fare required for transfers

Las Vegas

No United States city is changing faster than Las

Vegas. New resort openings, new restaurants, attrac-

tions and shopping contribute to the ever-changing

face of one of the world’s most exciting tourist destina-

tions.

The number of hotels and resorts in Las Vegas is

staggering. All the new resorts are literally self-

contained small communities with various themes. It’s

worth while to visit some of these properties such as

Bellagio, The Venetian, Paris and many more.

The Downtown area of Vegas has also come alive.

The Fremont Street Experience is a must see for any

first timer to Vegas. It’s also rumored that the loosest

slots in Las Vegas are in the downtown area.

New attractions keep popping up all over Vegas just

as rapidly as the new hotels and casinos. Attractions

that appeal to visitors of all ages have become a cen-

tral part of the Las Vegas entertainment experience.

Today, Las Vegas is so much more than just casinos. It

also caters to families. The Showcase Mall, located on

the Strip next to the MGM Grand, is a combination en-

tertainment-retail center. Joining the Official All-Star

Cafe is an 8-screen United Artists theater complex,

Sega Gameworks, M&M’s World and the World of Co-

ca-Cola, a retail store and museum devoted to Coca-

Cola and its products.

Las Vegas Motor Speedway is a massive complex

located on 1600 acres fifteen miles North of “the strip”.

LVMS contains a number of race tracks including

paved ovals, dirt tracks, drag strips, road courses, &

more. A unique feature of Las Vegas Motor Speedway

is the University of Motorsports, offering 10 specialized

Motorsports related training schools for fans and pro-

fessionals. The Neon Garage passes add entertain-

ment value for the fans. As you can easily see, there

are plenty of things to see and do in Las Vegas, not to

mention the surrounding attractions such as Hoover

Dam, Lake Mead, and the Grand Canyon. The possi-

bilities are endless in “The Entertainment Capital of

the World.

around the Las Vegas area contact the Las Vegas Con-

Local Points of Interest

Fountains at Bellagio Las Vegas Strip, Bellagio Hotel

Visual water symphony choreo-

graphed to music provides an

unforgettable welcome to the

Bellagio Hotel Casino. The water

jets span more than 1000 feet and

can shoot up to 250 feet in the air

while seeming to dance to chore-

ographed lights and romantic classical music. It is a

spectacular sight. Every 30 minutes until 7p, after

which shows are every 15 minutes.

Fremont Street Experience Fremont Street, Downtown Las Vegas

Encompassing Fremont Street is a

light and musical show like none

other in the world. A permanent

canopy has been constructed to

cover the casino-lined street with

two million lights and a state-of-

the-art sound system. This attrac-

tion provides shows in the evening hours. The special

shows projected on the canopy ceiling last for approxi-

mately seven minutes.

Hoover Dam & Lake Mead 30 miles SE of Las Vegas on US Hwy 93

Hoover Dam, once known as Boul-

der Dam, is a concrete arch-

gravity dam in the Black Canyon of

the Colorado River, on the border

between the US states of Arizona

and Nevada. It was constructed

between 1931 and 1936 during the

Great Depression and was dedicated on September 30,

1935, by President Franklin Roosevelt.

Red Rock Canyon 17 miles West of Las Vegas on State Route 159

702-363-1921

Red Rock Canyon is a magnificent

unspoiled vista. You can drive the

panoramic 13 mile scenic drive or

explore it more in depth on foot.

The best kept secret near Las Ve-

gas, hot or cold this is a must see.

It's like your inside a National Ge-

ographic magazine, unbelievable. The price, well, for $5

per car, it's basically free. You can just drive around it or

get out and hike. Great for all.
