Travel dates: 2 and 10 May Please keep in mind that on 2 May you should be in Craiova and on
10 you should leave. Before you buy the tickets contact us at [email protected] . You can also have

Project Objectives
Increase knowledge and understanding about International Labour Standards on
employment promotion, discrimination, while applying to an open position or during the
work. Labour, health and social rights among young people and how to react in case of
abusing their rights
Support young people in personal development by acquisition of necessary competences
(writing motivation letter, preparing CV, searching and applying for job, etc), which are
needed to make smooth gradual transition to labour market, education or training
Raise awareness among young people about variety of opportunities for study, training and
employment (support programmes, EVS, Erasmus for young entrepreneurs, etc)
Enhance employability and improve career prospects of young people from the minority
groups that are in highest risk of unemployment, not in training like romas and refugees. As
well, as people coming from problematic families or orphanage
Promote Erasmus+ programme and non-formal education
About us
Asociația Tinerii 3D (The Association of 3D Youngsters) is a NGO from
Craiova, Romania existing since 2012, registered January 2013. We are a group of
young who is fighting for respecting the right of the young people in the
community, for social integration and support of the youngsters that below to
disadvantaged social groups and also for to develop a healthy way of life in
3Directions: education for the mind, culture for the soul and sport for the body.
Between our objectives you can found promoting volunteering work, promoting creativity,
gender equality and non-racist prejudices, exploring national and other countries culture, organizing
sport contests, promoting the principles of European Union and European citizenship.

Participants Profile
Each partner organisation should select the participants acordind to the profile of the project.
The target group is generally 18-25 (it can be more or under this age if the host organization agrees with). The team leader can be any age 18+ and it should have experience in working with youngsters.
Participants need to be aged over 18 years old. If they are under this age they should have written permision (in English) from both parents that they agree to take part to this exchange.
Most important criteria of selection would be motivation to develop necessary personal skills, in order to get prepare for the labour market, trainee or education. To ensure that have include in the selection process the following questions:
- what is your current occupation (if there is some) - in which area would you like to work - how are you going to obtain that work - what do you know about labour rights? - what competences you have now? - what competences would you like to obtain during this project - how do you think competences, which are gained during this project will influence you
For the partner organizations: keep in mind that we must have at least one participant per country that comes from an Ethnic minority of the country and the fact the group should have an equilibrum between genders.
All participants need to complete the application form and e-mail it back to [email protected] by 1 st of April 2017.
Location and Accommodation
Accomodation and food: 100% covered by Erasmus + Program
Accommodation:
The training course will be held in Craiova at Casa Boiereasca. It is a traditional house from
Oltenia (region of Romania where Craiova is) that can provide us good accommodation, good places
to have the workshops. The location is just 5 min walk away from the city center.
The accommodation it will be in rooms of different number of persons (2-3-4-5) and it will
be in international room (example 1 Armenian, 1 British, 1 Romanian).
About Craiova:
Craiova is one of the biggest cities in Romania. It has around
270.000 inhabitants (420.000 in the metropolitan area). The city is a
major unversitary center in Romania and it hosts students from all
over the country and also European and international students.
It is knows as a cultural center. It has a lot of museums and
cultural centers. It is the only city from the big ones of Romania that
had all the museum renovated because the city values it`s culture and heritage.
The city was candidating for European Cultural Capital in 2021 and in last years we can see
that the citizens of Craiova have a „hunger” for culture bigger than in the past. Also in the last years
the youth of Craiova started get involved more and more in the life of the city. You can see a lot of
initiatives of the youth related to their hobbies, to culture, to the city that in the past it wasn`t.

The International Aiport of Craiova has the following routes that you can travel from or use as
connections:
Train Station: Craiova Train Station with national and international connections.
There are 20 daily trains both ways Craiova – Bucharest so the train connections are very good.

Very good connections with Bucharest and the main cities and also a lot of international routes.
Travel costs
Travel costs are designated by ERASMUS + rules and by European Commission distance calculator. Total travel costs tickets, invoices etc. are not measure for amount of travel cost refunds but still participants need to give to us all ORIGINAL tickets, bills, invoices, receipts, boarding tags/cards etc. Travels need to be done with the cheapest possible solutions, e.g. second class railway tickets, bus, ship / catamaran, flights etc
The limit for the travel cost is different by country. You can find it in the table.
In the case that you exced the budget limit you will get you maximum reinburment (eg: your
limit is 170 Euro and your tickets are 200 Euro you will get the maximim of 170 Euro); Keep in mind
that this is the limit and not the ammount you get (eg: your limit is 170 Euro and the tickets price
was 100 Euro you will get 100 Euro).

What to bring
Materials About Your Organisation
During the youth exchange, each one will get the
opportunity to present their own organization in a visual way
on Organizational Market Evening
We encourage you to bring as much relevant materials as possible.
To bring with you:
Information about your organization; brochures, leaflets, etc (in English if you have).
All relevant information you have on the previous international project(s) you’ve
organized/been part of (reports, gadgets, and press releases).
Picture, posters, etc.
About Your Country/Region/Town:
Please bring your national food, traditional drinks, music or souvenirs for the intercultural
evening. On this evening you will be able to show what is typical for your country; it can be food,
drinks or whatever you would like to present from your country.
PROOF OF ALL THE TRAVEL EXPENSES
If you come by plane, please be sure to bring evidence of the sum actually paid (invoice) and
boarding pass. Electronic tickets will only be considered as acceptable on proof of payment (invoice)
and on presentation of the boarding pass for the outward journey. Please keep in mind the travel
rules of the ERASMUS PLUS Program. If you come by train or bus do not forget to buy a return ticket.
Please copy your tickets before you leave your home.
ALSO, PLEASE, DO NOT FORGET TO BRING:
Medication, shampoo and other personal items. - Standard seminar equipments; an alarm
clock, an English dictionary, music CDs, varied and comfortable clothes.

Uber is not available in Craiova.
Exchange rate is generally around 1 EUR (euro) = 4,5 RON (leu); We advise you to exchange
in the Exchange Shops or in Banks (in aiports, train and bus stations the rate is not so good; If you
have to exchange in this places do it for a small amount).
