Lord, you have called us to go to all the nations of the world; You have asked us to share the Good News of Jesus to the ends of the earth.
You have blessed us richly in your love and grace; You ask us to be a blessing to all people in your love.
Give to us a love for those who need your encouragement and hope; Give us the willingness to go wherever you send us.
We hear your call to go and make disciples; May our response always be, “Here I am, send me!” Amen.
*Prayer of the Day Gracious God, it amazes us that your heart and your love are for all the people
of the world. Forgive us when our vision is too small. Bless the work of
missionaries all over the world. May our vision of your kingdom match the heart

courage to share your message of salvation with everyone.
In Jesus’ name. Amen.

A SPECIAL WELCOME TO OUR GUESTS THIS MORNING!
Whether you are from across town or out-of-state, your presence is a blessing to us. When
the Friendship Pad is passed down the row, please fill it out so we may connect with you.
Thank you for joining us today!
First Lesson - Psalm 67 1 May God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face shine on us - 2 so that your
ways may be known on earth, your salvation among all nations. 3 May the peoples
praise you, God; may all the peoples praise you. 4 May the nations be glad and sing for
joy, for you rule the peoples with equity and guide the nations of the earth. 5 May the
peoples praise you, God; may all the peoples praise you. 6 The land yields its harvest;
God, our God, blesses us. 7 May God bless us still, so that all the ends of the earth will
fear him.
Second Lesson - Revelation 7:9-17 9 After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could
count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and
before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in
their hands. 10 And they cried out in a loud voice: “Salvation belongs to our God, who
sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.” 11 All the angels were standing around the throne
and around the elders and the four living creatures. They fell down on their faces
before the throne and worshiped God, 12 saying: “Amen! Praise and glory and wisdom
and thanks and honor and power and strength be to our God for ever and ever.
Amen!” 13 Then one of the elders asked me, “These in white robes - who are they, and
where did they come from?” 14 I answered, “Sir, you know.” And he said, “These are
they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and
made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15 Therefore, “they are before the throne of
God and serve him day and night in his temple; and he who sits on the throne will
shelter them with his presence. 16 ‘Never again will they hunger; never again will they
thirst. The sun will not beat down on them,’ nor any scorching heat. 17 For the Lamb at
the center of the throne will be their shepherd; ‘he will lead them to springs of living
water.’ ‘And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.’”
Gospel - Matthew 28:16-20 16 Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told
them to go. 17 When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18 Then
Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to
me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the
Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I
have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Pastor’s Ponderings . . .
1. How often do you think about people of other nations, and their need to
hear the message of Jesus?
2. Have you ever heard of “Reaching the Unreached” before today?
3. How do you feel about sharing the love of Jesus with those who profess to
be Muslims?
4. How many of Faith’s mission partners do you know? Would you be willing to
commit to pray for them by name on a regular basis?
5. Why does it take courage and faith to go as a missionary to another
country and culture to share the message of Jesus?
Let’s SPRING FORWARD Saturday night!
Remember to set your clocks ahead 1 hour before going
to bed Saturday night, March 9.
We want to see you Sunday morning for Worship!
Faith Lutheran welcomes
Pastor Tim and Bev Nappe!
Pastor Tim & Bev Nappe of Milford have made 19 trips to Ghana.
They have had the opportunity to share the Gospel with the
people in Ghana, Togo, Cote d’Ivoire, Burkina Faso and Benin.
Reaching the Unreached has dozens of disciples who are helping to evangelize and
lead worship throughout the villages and churches in West Africa. New churches
have been planted, helping to spread the Gospel message to many, resulting in
many hearts being transformed. They are working to reach the Fulani tribe, a difficult
tribe to reach. The Fulani have been traditionally Muslim. They would appreciate our
prayers and continued financial support.
