How to make easier our weekdays?

- Automatic recording- Universal remote controlling- Distant access- Securty system control- Controlling playing devices from PC

For example:For example:

This old woman likes to watching TV, video, she has air conditioner and so many device which need a remote control. But she always conflicting with them, because she has too many remote control.

What will help to her?

System port for appliance configuration: RS 232 Port for CFMC-1 configuration. This

port is used to configurate the CFMC-1 by a PC. The system port also can be used for a remote device which controls the CFMC-1 by RS232.

Ethernet port: This port is often used to connect the programming

PC with the CFMC-1. A TCP/IP device can also be connected to the CFMC-1 by this front port.

LEDS 1

TCP/IP Client status LED:

Status-bar indicators of the IP-Clients. If a red LED is on, the IP-Client is

registered at the CFMC-1. The registration of the TCP/IP port is done in CF

MEDIA Studio in the “Devices” section. For further details please see chapter

5.4. in the CF-MEDIA Studio manual.

+5V status LED:

Power supply status indicator of the CFMC-1.

RF with status LED:

Status indicator for the radio signal. The LED lits when a submitted

radio signal is received

LEDS 2

CF-Active status LED:

Access Indicator for the Compact Flash card. The blue LED lights on, if access to the data stored on the CF-card is taken.

IR-Learn with status LED:

LED indicator for the active Infra-red learning system. For further information how to learn a IR remote control please see chapter 5.2. in the CF-MEDIA Studio manual.

IRC-Output/Event-Input/RSC-Output status LED:

LED status indicator for the different type of ports. The LEDS lit on when- a command is transferred to an IRC- (red) or RSC- (green) Port - an Event Input is used (yellow LED)

Relay status LED:

Relay control status indicator. A red LED lits on, when a relay is set to “ON” status.

7x COM x (Tx):Up to 7 RSC-controled devices can be

connected to one CFMC-1.Only connect the following pins on the CFMC-1

RSC-port if you want to use a RS-422 connection:

- Pin 4 (TX+)- Pin 5 (GND)- Pin 9 (TX-)

Don’t use fully connected RSC-cables.

RTS/CTS: Request To Send (RTS)/ Clear To Send (CTS)

short circuit switch for RS 232/422 Ports. Some RSC-devices use RTS/CTS for connection. RTS/CTS isn’t normally needed. If you put the dip switch to status on and you are using a fully connected cable a bridge between pin 7 (RTS) and 8 (CTS) is established. Dip switch 1 is the dip for the first RSC-port and dip switch 7 is the dip for the seventh RSC-port.

System Port:

The back system configuration port is working like the system port on the front panel. If you have a cable where pin2 and pin3 aren’t crossed you can cross the data lines by switching the dip switches.

Ground Bolt: Ground bolt to connect the CFMC.1 to earth

ground.

12x Relay:

Every CFMC-1 has 12 relay. The relay connection is executed by 2pole connectors. Every relay can hold up to 30 V with a maximum current of 1 A at resistive load.

Be careful to realize a external protection wiring for the relay contacts (flyback diode for DC, RC-combination for AC).

8x IRC-Output:

Every CFMC-1 can be connected with up to eight IR-devices. The infra-red connection is executed by 2pole connectors.

8x Event-Input: Every CFMC-1 has eight event-inputs. The

connection is executed with 2 pole connectors.

RF-Antenna:

Antenna port for KOMTECH 868 MHz radio control system.

DC IN +5V: Power supply for the CFMC-1. The power supply

is executed by an external power supply.

3x TCP/IP Ports: There are TCP/IP ports where you can connect - TCP/IP devices - another CF-MEDIA systems - a PC to program a CFMC-1 unit - a PC to transfer data from the PC to a CFMC-1 unit - a Panel which is used a remote for the CFMC-1 unit - a device who just wants to use the integrated network

switch for data transmission in a private network.
