Janie Chapman SC State Missions: Season of Prayer September 1 - September 30
“Be Strong and Courageous. The Lord Himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor
forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” (Deuteronomy 31:7-8)

If you are a nursery volunteer or a nursery parent, please plan to attend.

L.A.S.E. Gathering Thursday, September 5th at 6:30 - Soup and Salad Supper
Bring a salad topping, a dessert, and a friend for some fun, devotion, fellowship, and help prepare a small gift for our
shut ins!
PLACE Jesus once said: “…whoever loses his life for me will
find it.” (Matthew 16:25) When we dedicate our lives to Jesus and live for Him, we can find the real meaning of what life is all about and the divine purpose for why God created us and was willing to die for us (Ephesians 2:10). PLACE is a
part of Loris FBC’s discipleship program to help both new and longtime members find their God-designed “place” in ministry within the body of Christ. God has created each of us with unique personalities and abilities. He has also given
us spiritual “gifts” (the moment we were saved) which allows His divine power to work through us. By meeting for
one hour on Sundays, from 5:30-7:00 PM, over a 5-week period (September 22nd – October 15th), Pastor Louis will help you begin the process of understanding how your life
experiences and passions can be used by the Lord to advance His kingdom objectives to touch and change the lives of people around you. If you have never taken the PLACE Assessment Test, you can sign up on the list in the Bell Tower and start the process on “finding the life” God
created you to live for Him.
Journey Vol 1 Class Because as of Wednesday, August 28th, no one had signed
up to take the new Journey Volume 1 Class for the Fall 2019 Semester, I have postponed this particular class until the Spring of 2020. In its place, I will be teaching a 5-week
course called “PLACE ministry” to all who are interested in learning what their God-given spiritual gifts are, as well as how these gifts can be used to glorify God through using
them in accordance with our unique personalities and passions as a family member of Loris FBC. If you have never taken this class…I strongly suggest that you make signing up
for PLACE a priority as soon as possible. – Pastor Louis
