Do not keep a projector overnight unless your WG has a session first thing the next day – but advise Kurt if doing so.
Return projector and all accessories when you are finished using it.
All projectors are to be returned to Kurt no later than Noon Friday at the wrap-up meeting if not before.

JIM MCDOWALL RECOGNITION DETAILS
• Taken the leadership in instructing and mentoring WG officers w/ the new
I Meet program, working w/ Mike Kipness of IEEE SA.
• Presented at the 2 ESSB Tutorials (FERC and T&D).
• Agreed to be a core member of the ongoing Tutorial efforts.
• Agreed to serve as a Co-Vice-Chair of the new IEEE ESSB/SCC 21 1547.9
standard development as part of the PES ESSB/SCC21 ESTF.
• Rescued me on P1660 when Larry Meisner resigned.
• Assumed leadership w/ P1189 and redirected to establishing a new WG to
readdress the standard next year.
• Wrote an excellent article for Electrification magazine (September Issue).
• Is presenting at a panel session on ESS at the upcoming IEEE General Meeting
in Portland.
• Has been nominated for Fellow consideration (Hopefully, if he wins the award,
this would help if we publicize in the PES Magazine, e-Newsletter, etc.).
• Took the lead in drafting the WG P&P document.

IEEE PES Meritorious Service Award
To recognize outstanding contributions in leadership, technical activities, and educational activities of the IEEE Power & Energy Society.
IEEE Energy Storage and Stationary Battery (ESSB) Committee
Purpose: To recognize outstanding contributions in leadership, technical activities, and educational activities of the IEEE Power & Energy Society.
Form of Recognition: Plaque and travel subsidy of up to $1,000 for recipient to attend presentation ceremony.
Frequency: To ensure that this award is presented to appropriately qualified recipient and to maintain the prestigious nature of the award, it may not be presented every year. There is no fixed frequency.
Eligibility: Power & Energy Society members.
Basis for Judging: Selection will be based on outstanding and meritorious service to the IEEE Power & Energy Society.
Presentation: Presentation of the award shall be made by the Power & Energy Society President.

IEEE PES Wanda Reder Pioneer in Power Award
The award seeks to recognize a deserving female in the field of power engineering. The award is intended to provide visibility to the awardee’s efforts, accomplishments and future potential while empowering her to be an inspiration and role model for other women in the industry.
The recipient shall have demonstrated a high level of influence in technical development, infrastructure enhancement, entrepreneurial/management practices or education within the field of electric power and energy engineering.

Senior Member
Senior Member is the highest grade for which IEEE members can apply and reflects professional maturity and experience. IEEE members can self-nominate, or be nominated, for Senior member grade. Nearly 11% of PES members are Senior Members (IEEE average is 8%), and many more are eligible.To be eligible for application or nomination, candidates must:
▪ Be engineers, scientists, educators, technical executives, or originators in IEEE-designated fields;
▪ Have experience reflecting professional maturity;▪ Have been in professional practice for at least ten years;▪ Show significant performance over a period of at least five of their years in
professional practice▪ Have three references from other Senior Members or Fellows
