Q - Compare and contrast the role of Medicus Health Partners Patient Participation Group and Forest Road Patient Participation Group
Q - Where are the minutes for the Medicus Health Partners PPG published?
Q - Compare and contrast the function and information of the Medicus
Health Partners website with that of the practice websites like Forest Road?
Is it the intention to merge these websites onto the Medicus Health Partners
website along with the activities and initiatives that take place at each
Practice?
Q - Who is the representative(s) for Forest Road on the 14 Practices PPGs founded by Medicus Health Participation Group ?

Q - Forest Road computer system has suffered outages this year and more recently on 13th November 2019. Is it the case that such outages (or upgrades) will this now impact patients visiting any of the 14 GP practices, or could it just affect a single practice? Can the service for online ordering of medications and appointments continue unaffected in some instances?
Q -Whilst it is fair to appreciate that the reception at Forest Road cannot
know everything there are examples where this fails completely and
absolutely, with no answers for even simple scenarios. The question is what
second line support exists for reception and patients when this occurs
within Medicus Health Partners?

Q - Under the new GP Contract, Practices will be expected to make 25% of
appointments bookable online from July 2019. Is that across Medicus
Health Partners, or at GP Practice level? . What are the indicative numbers
for such appointments and does it exclude the mandatory one appointment
per 3,000 patients available each day for direct booking by NHS111
Q - Explain how online booking for appointments works especially when a patient has to decide which of the following is appropriate for their needs? Consider these options "General", "Carlton House Surgery DEFAULT", "Carlton House Surgery Dr Task", "Carlton House Surgery On Day", "Carlton House Surgery prebookable", "RHS Telephone", RHS Extended Hours Session"-

Q - From April 2020 all practices should provide online consultations. How will
Medicus Health Partners manage this launch and what should we expect ?
Q - Explain the impact of the two opt-outs available to patients with respect to their digital records and any impact to patients booking an appointment at any of the 14 GP Practices.

WHAT is a PCN – Primary Care Network
• To meet local requirements, practices have begun working together and with community, mental health, social care, pharmacy, hospital and voluntary services in their local areas in primary care networks
• Members of a network can be anyone or service that can be of benefit to Patients and their families/Carers
• MHP will be working with other members to recruit more staff, such as pharmacists and social prescribers to help our patients access assistance

As a DoctorLink Partner. Medicus will allocate appointments for this service – the system will search and offer the patient an appointment at a MHP Site.
This is automatically booked and the Surgery/Doctor will receive notification of the booking, patient will receive confirmation.
If there are no appointments available , the system will notify the site to call the patient to book within the required time.
If the patient declines the appointment – the session will be ended.
