by train and a 30-minute drive from Heathrow airport. The historic

towns of Oxford, Windsor and Bath are not too far and a day trip to the

south coast takes just over an hour. Heathrow airport is a 20-minute

drive from Uxbridge, and from this campus you can walk to the station

and travel to London using the Metropolitan Line, just 25 minutes to

Central London. We have dedicated advice and international teams

who are always available to help to ensure the on-going happiness,

safety and success of all our students.

TQUK Level 2 Diploma in Business Administration (RQF) -Qualification Number: 601/4933/4

Structure

Learners must achieve a minimum of 45 credits: 21 credits from the Mandatory Group and a

minimum of 14 credits from Optional Group A. A maximum of 10 credits can come from

Optional Group B and a maximum of 6 credits can come from Optional Group C.

Guided Learning Hours

These hours are made up of all real time contact time, guidance or supervision of a learner by a

lecturer, supervisor, tutor, trainer or other appropriate provider of education or training.

GLH for this qualification is 229.

Total Qualification Time for this qualification is 450 hours.

Introduction to the Qualification

The TQUK Level 2 Diploma in Business Administration (RQF) is regulated by Ofqual.

Qualification Purpose

The TQUK Level 2 Diploma in Business Administration (RQF) aims to develop and give

recognition of learners’ knowledge, understanding and competence of working relevant to

business administration roles. The qualification is suitable for learners working in a wide variety

of business administrative roles.

Entry Requirements

There are no specific entry requirements however learners should have a minimum of level one

in literacy and numeracy or equivalent.

The qualification is suitable for learners of 16 years of age and above.

Progression

Successful learners can progress to other qualifications such as:

TQUK Level 3 Diploma in Business Administration (RQF) (some credit transfer is possible) or to

other areas such as TQUK Level 2 Diploma in Team Leading (RQF) or TQUK Level 2 Diploma in

Customer Service (RQF).

Level 3 Diploma in Business is a 60-credit Equal regulated qualification and

is the equivalent level to an A Level or Access to HE qualification. It has been

designed for learners who wish to progress to a business or management

degree but may not have the traditional entry qualifications usually required.

We also offer a larger, 120-credit qualification in Business and Management

at this level.

Level 4 Extended Diploma in

Management

Level 4 Extended Diploma in Management is a 120-credit of equal regulated qualification

and is the equivalent level to the first year of a bachelor’s degree.

This qualification has been designed for learners who are seeking to progress to higher

education to enter the second year of a bachelor’s degree in an area of management and

aims to develop learners understanding of management and to develop key management

skills. As well as the Extended Diploma option (120 credit) there is a Diploma option (60

credit) and a Certificate option (30 credit).

At a glance:

• Provides 14 optional units

• Designed with support from universities

• Progression to the second year of a bachelor’s degree with a range of university

partners

• Extended Diploma is 1,200 learning hours, usually studied over an academic year

• Lesson delivery in the classroom

There are three different sized qualifications. If you study the 120-credit extended diploma

then you must study all 4 mandatory units and pick 4 optional units. If you study the 60-

credit diploma then you must study all 3 mandatory units and 1 optional unit. The 30-credit

certificate requires you to study “Business Environment” and either of the remaining two

units from the 60-credit diploma

Management

Level 5 Extended Diploma in Management was developed with support and feedback

from UK universities. It is a 120-credit Of equal regulated qualification and is the

equivalent size and level to the second year of a bachelor’s degree.

This qualification has been designed for learners who are seeking to progress to take

the final year of a bachelor’s degree course in an area of management and aims to

develop learners understanding of management and to develop key management

skills. As well as the Extended Diploma option (120 credit) there is a Diploma option

(60 credit) and a Certificate option (30 credit).

At a glance:

• Progression to a degree top-up at a range of universities

• Designed with support from universities

• Comes with 16 optional units

• Extended Diploma is 1,200 learning hours, usually studied over an academic

Strategic Management. The MBA Top-up typically takes 9 months to study and varies

in price from £3,360 to £6,250 depending on which university you apply to.

management qualifications at a lower level as well as for learners who do not have

business or management qualifications, but may have qualifications in other areas

and/or prior management experience in the work place.

The ATHE Level 4 Extended Diploma in Management for Health and Social Care is a

120 credit Of equal regulated qualification and is the equivalent level to the first year

of a bachelor’s degree.

This qualification has been designed for learners who are seeking to progress to

university to join the second year of a bachelor’s degree course in an area of

management within the healthcare sector. As well as the Extended Diploma option

(120 credit) there is a Diploma option (60 credit) and a Certificate option (30 credit).

Travel and Tourism Management Qualifications

Travel and Tourism Management Qualifications have been developed for learners wishing to develop

the core knowledge and competencies required of a manager in the tourism industry, however there

is also the opportunity to gain specialist knowledge in areas such as Resort Management and Tour

Operations.

Once learners have completed the level 5 Diploma they will be eligible to progress onto an Extended

Diploma in another subject area at the same level which provides routes to Bachelor Degree

programmes, as well as be ready to go straight into employment, with practical skills and knowledge

TQUK Level 4 Award for Commercial

Drone Pilots

The qualification objective is to provide a benefit to learners by preparing them to fulfil

the role of a commercial drone pilot. The qualification is designed specifically to align to

the COPTRZ COPSU programme of training and assessment. This programme is

approved by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) as a recognised programme which

enables successful learners to be recommended by COPTRZ for permission for

commercial operations.

The CAA has stipulated that learners should achieve a level of pilot competency before

they are eligible to act as a Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in charge of a Small Unmanned

Aircraft (SUA) for Visual Flight Rules (VFR)/Visual Line of Sight (VLOS) commercial

The TQUK Level 6 Diploma in Public

Service Interpreting

The purpose of the qualification is to develop learners’ skills in interpreting in public

service contexts. The objective is to qualify bilingual individuals to be able to become

professional interpreters and to help existing interpreters to achieve higher levels of

qualification. The qualification will develop practical skills in interpreting that will cover

law specialisms including the police, court and prison/probation and test interpreting and

translation skills.

Units:

• Interpret simultaneously and consecutively to and from English in legal, police

and immigration contexts

Register for an IELTS for UKVI test:

Step 1: Choose the test type.

Step 2: Select ‘location’ and ‘month’ from the available drop-down options and click ’Next’.

Step 3: View the availability of all test dates at test centres at the selected location and

select your preferred option by clicking ‘Apply’.

Step 4: Register for an account by completing essential fields and reading the Terms and

Conditions. Tick the box to complete this step.

Step 5: Log in to continue with your test registration.

Step 6: View the details of your test at this step. Click on ‘Book test’ to continue. If you want

to change your test details, click on ‘Select another test’.

Step 7-9: View your account registration information. Click ‘Continue’ and to provide other

essential information in the next 3 steps.

Step 10: Confirm that you have read and accepted IELTS Terms and Conditions.

Step 11: Choose your payment method.

Step 12: Receive automated emails for your test date and then payment confirmation as you

complete each step.

Test Day:

You are required to produce your original and valid identification document (ID) on the Test day.

It must be the same ID with which you register for the test.

In addition to this, you will also be required to submit a copy of the same ID on the test day.

If you fail to bring your original and valid ID on the test day, you will not be allowed to continue with

your test. You may also lose your entire test fee.

As proof of identity for IELTS for UKVI, we accept the following identification documents:
