Examples of Creativity in Teaching and Learning

• Angry Birds Project – Joe Hilliard• LiveBinders for student portfolios (example of senior portfolio)• Animoto (7th grade science example)• Google Sites (Interactive Periodic Table of Elements)

Students researched a particular element and created a web site about their element using Google Sites. Students included text, images, video/audio and links to other web sites. Each individual site was then linked to a central Red Team Periodic Table web site to create an interactive periodic table of elements.

• KidBlog - http://kidblog.org/ififthexplorers• Masher (alphabet example)• Fakebook - http://www.classtools.net/fb/home/page• Video Blocks (lab safety video)• QR Codes in the classroom (http://qr-codes.wikispaces.com/)
