Whether you have already come to faith or are searching for answers, we offer three discipleship courses a year where you can ask questions and get real answers. The courses are free of charge, open to all, usually involve sharing a meal, and enable you to make friends as you learn more about the Christian faith. “I was eager to learn more about Christianity and its relevance to me. The Discipleship Course was ideal, a blend of scripture, teaching and group discussion.” “You don’t need a friend for moral support as there will be many more people there in your shoes. The food was as promised, in fact the last course coincided with the Great British Bake Off and there really are people who can bake those technical challenges at home. I know I’ve eaten them!” For details of the latest Discipleship course please visit our website.

PRAYER MINISTRY1 Thessalonians 5: 16

‘When I pray, coincidences happen. When I don’t, they don’t.’ Archbishop William Temple Prayer is central to all that we do and who we are. We meet weekly on Wednesdays at 9:00am to pray for all aspects of St Mary’s Church family life, and for all who are in need of God’s love or healing. We also pray for each other within our Life Groups, and offer an email prayer request service open to all through the Churches Together Website. We believe in the healing power of prayer and offer Prayer Ministry every Sunday where members of our prayer ministry team will pray for you. If you would value prayer support please see our website.

“Pray continually, give

thanks in all circumstances”
