ABOUT US
The Weight Watchers Kenya started operating in August 2013 as a nutrition and fitness wellness consultancy center. The nutrition clinic deals with diabetes, hypertension, renal diseases, weight management, and eating complications. The center also runs a support group on social media the Weight Watchers Kenya with over sixty thousand members and also has a page on baby and mum weaning and complementary infant and young child nutrition.
At Weight watchers Kenya we believe in a different paradigm where clients benefit from a productive on-going relationship with knowledgeable practitioners. We recognize the powerful role that excellent nutrition and fitness plays in achieving optimal health. We are a team of experienced professionals recognized by various accreditation bodies and institutions in Kenya and abroad.
Weight watchers grew from a social group to a limited company that encourages people to do physical exercises like booth camps, dance fitness, aqua aerobics, sport activities like ball games and athletes in a quench to manage weight, reduce stress, and improve on well-being. This has been achieved through various boot camp centers including at Thomas Barnados Home, Langata, The Sailing Club Langata, Kilimani primary school, Westland’s Primary school, Railway sports club, Railway training institute (RTI) South B campus, Kenya medical research institute Mbagathi .
Weight watchers Kenya holds various events in weekends and public holidays aimed at promoting various physical activities like dance fitness (Zumba-Rumba dance fitness and Rhumba Dance fitness challenges) once a month with earlier ones held at Kasarani sports Stadium main indoor arena, Thomas Barnados hall. Aqua fitness once a month the previous ones held at Kilimani primary school swimming pool. Monthly Outdoor hike/boot camp previous held at Karura Forest and Brooke house school.
We have also been involved in team building activities for co-operates to help them in uniting their staff and improve on their well-being as well as break the monotony of their work place one such institution is Baraka foundation Kenya, Novartis-Sandoz ltd co, DuPoint ltd among others.
Weight watchers Kenya also offers its corporate services to institutions like World bank Kenya group, Kenya commercial bank West ministers events Centre s, Muthithi gardens Kiambu, , where the clients benefit from our various wellness packages.
