Weekly Update  This Issue: -  This Sunday - Congregational Dinner - Drolma Buddhist - Movie - New Beginnings Pledge -  A Look Ahead - 8 Day Schedule  Join Foundation Program in Miami - Any Wednesday in September! Foundation Program ( FP  ) is a structured study program designed to support you in taking your practice of Buddha's teachings to a deeper level. It was designed by V en. Geshe Kelsang Gyatso as one of the three study programs in the New Kadampa Tradition of Buddhism. We are currently studying the book Eight Steps to Happiness: The Buddhist Way of Loving -Kindness, by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, and are still quite close to the beginning ~ a perfect time to join! Classes focus on meditation, study , and discussion of the topics in the book. Every Wednesday, 7-9:30pm, on an ongoing basis, at the Unitarian-Uni versalist Congregation of Miami, 7701 SW 76th Ave, Miami, FL 33143 Visit our website HERE for more information, or e-mail our Education Program Coordinator if you have any questions. This Sunday September 25  th  Hope- Raquel Reyes  Amongst the barrage of bad news, how do  we keep Hope in our daily lives? Come lift  your spirit with us as we nd hope.  TEEN GROUP  Teens will meet after the service for hospitality. Newcomers  welcome. UU JAZZ Our rst concert of the series begins on Sunday, September 25th, 4pm in the Sanctuary. The Debbie Orta Quintet will grace our stage with veteran musicians. Tic kets at the door - $15 adults, $10 minors. ( Cash only  ) For more info click HERE. Our New Beginnings Congregational Dinner Saturday night October 8 we gather to celebrate! There will be tasty food prepared by wonderful volunteers, music, comedy, and most importantly fellowship. Cost is $10 per adult, $5 for children under 16, pay at the door.  Childcare will be a vailable. meeting is to approve the minutesfrom previous CongregationalMeetings amp to review the budgetfor this fiscal year and announcethe Boards financial plansMembers who have pledged forthis fiscal year are eligible to vote( There is no longer a fixedminimum pledge give as much as you can ) Minutes are availableHERE There are 7 sets of minutes to be read For those who

do not have access to a computer

paper copies will be available inthe Sanctuary over the next few Sundays or can be mailed If youhave questions about accessing the minutes electronically pleasecontact the office administrator
