June 3 - August 3 Pick up your “READO” Bingo Chart at the
library anytime between June 3 and August
3. Finish one READO (row, column, or
diagonal) and get a free book. Finish three
READOs and get an envelope of prize
coupons. Finish a Blackout and enjoy a
special behind-the-scenes community tour.
Only one square per activity, please.
We will have charts for all age groups:
Birth-age 3, Grades 4K-2, and Grades 3-5.
Teens will have their own summer reading
program!

Animals Alive @ Leatherberry Acres Saturday, June 8, 9 am - Noon Join us at Leatherberry Acres, S4067 County Rd A and enjoy a petting zoo and other farm-related activities. Tickets are required for entrance. Families are welcome. This program is co-sponsored with Leatherberry Acres and the Wisconsin Holstein Association.
Planet Trek Thursday, June 13, 10 am Meet at the library and blast off into a solar system scavenger hunt around downtown Baraboo. Families are welcome.
Summer Solstice Celebration Thursday, June 20 , 10 am Come celebrate the longest day of the year with crafts and dancing. Families are welcome.
7th Annual Worm Races @ Library Thursday, June 27 , 10 - 11 am “On your mark, get set, squirm!” Bring your
own worm or adopt one from the library and
enter it in our exciting annual worm races!
For grades 4K - 5. Heats starts at 10:05.
Alien Fashion Show @ Library Thursday, July 11 , 9 am Create your favorite alien-inspired outfits, either at home or at the library. Register your creation with library staff, to participate in the show, between 10:45-11 am in the program room. Model your creation at 11 a.m. Families are welcome.

Seize the Night @ Library Tuesday, July 23 8 pm - 9 pm Become a stargazer and learn what to see, how to see, and how to equip yourself so you can enjoy the night sky. Families are welcome.
Launch Party @ Steinhorst Park Thursday, July 25 10 am - 11:30 am Join us at Steinhorst Park, 1800 Parkgate Dr. and create your own model rocket. This program is co-sponsored with the Baraboo Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department and W.A.S.P. Model Rocket Club #829. Families are welcome.
Clown Workshop @ Library Thursday, August 1 10 am - 11 am Step into the ring and learn how to apply clown make-up and perform circus acts. This workshop is presented by Greg DeSanto, Executive Director of the International Clown Hall of Fame. Pie-throwing contest outside at 10:30 am. For ages 3 - 11 years. This program is co-sponsored with the International Clown Hall of Fame.

Explore the Night Sky @ Devil’s Lake State Park Friday, July 12 9-10:30pm See stars and planets using telescopes and
star apps. Meet at the Devil’s Lake North
Shore boat launch. A state park sticker is
required for private cars. A round-trip bus
between the library and the park will also be
available with limited seating. Tickets are
required for the bus. Tickets are available
first come, first serve at the library
starting Monday, June 3. This program is
co-sponsored with the Wisconsin
Department of Natural Resources.
Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Moon Landing @ Library Thursday, July 18 10 am - 11 am Come celebrate the moon landing with crafts and activities. Families welcome.
