Bharti plans to exit MF business

– BHARTI is in talks with Bank of india to sell its 25% stake in domestic asset management JV with AXA investment Managers.

– The AXA group owns 75% on the mutual fund venture with assets under management of Rs. 510 crore.

Jet deal may give 27000 jobs

– US President Barack Obama is struggling to create fresh jobs; such a deal bagged by an American company could give him a big political boost.

– Two major fighter jet manufacturing company - Boeing and Lockheed Martin - are vying for the $10 bn Indian tender.

– It could bring 27,000 jobs to the US.

Analyst bullish on CIL

– Coal India Ltd Rs 15,000 crore mega issue has garnered a bullish endorsement from most of the market experts who believe it would be the star attraction.

– The main attraction for retail investors would be the primary market with the mega IPO of Coal India.

– CIL initial public offering, priced in the range of Rs 225 to Rs 245 per share, is the biggest issue in the Corporate India history so far.

Vodafone 3G deal

– Sweden’s Ericsson and Finland Nokia will roll out 3G network for Vodafone Essar.

– Vodafone gave them 3 year contract estimated to be $500 million.

– Nokia Siemens will supply, implement and manage vodafones 3G network in Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Maharastra, UP,WB and Haryana while Ericsson will cover metros Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkatta

Google cars drive themselves

• Anyone driving the twists of highway 1 between San Francisco and Los Angeles recently may have glimpse of Toyota Prius, without a driver.

• It’s a car project of Google, using artificial intelligence software that can sense anything near the car mimic the decision made by human driver
