    Family on Sunday June 2nd. Meet in the church parking lot at12:15 p.m. to leave by 12:30 p.m. Wear good footwear and bringwater and a snack.

    Stephen Ministry

    Trust is essential to a caring relationship, and StephenMinisters are people you can trust. Confidentiality is one of themost important principles of Stephen Ministry. What a carereceiver tells his or her Stephen Minister is kept in strictestconfidence; even the identity of the care receiver is keptconfidential from other Stephen Ministers, or anyone else. Do you

    Music Ministry

    Adult Bell rehearsals are scheduled for May 21st and May 28th. Lastrehearsal for Chancel Choir is May 30 th.

    MS Walk Update WOW! Twenty-six hearty souls walked this year in our communityto benefit the 2013 MS Walk. The weather was perfect and theSonshined upon us. To date $1,165 was raised by Tom's Trekies.Thank you for your faithfulness, love and support. - Tom and KathyHinkey

    Art of Marriage Family Weekend

    Friday, June 7th and Saturday, June 8th - God can turn any marriageinto a masterpiece. Making marriage work is a divinely inspired artform. Adult sessions will include:

    Love Happens:God's Purpose and Plan

    Love Fades:Overcoming Isolation Love Dances:Fulfilling Our Responsibilities Love Interrupted:Communication and Conflict Love Sizzles:Experiencing Real Intimacy Love Always:Leaving a Lasting Legacy

    The cost is $50 per family, which includes a family dinner on Fridaynight, a family breakfast and a couples lunch and a pizza party forkids, on Saturday. The Retreat ends with a date night from 4:009:00 pm for couples that the couples get to plan. Senior High Youth

    will be providing fun activities for all K-8 students while couplesattend sessions. Sign-up sheets for this event are in Fellowship

    Hall after all services or you can sign up on our website.

    Family Promise Spring Clothing Drive

    Faith United Methodist Church will be open to receive clothes forFamily Promise participants on June 6, 2013 from 9 am-6 pm atFaith United Methodist Church off Chipperfield Drive in Stroudsburg.All gently used clothing of all sizes is welcome. Please place items ina strong, tied, plastic bag. Any questions call 420-8589 or email at

    The OKs (55+ Group) will meet on Monday, June 10 th at 11:30a.m. in Oberholtzer Hall. Please bring a favorite salad to share.There will be a speaker from the Monroe County Office of theAging, and the topic will be Entitlements of Seniors. This will beespecially interesting to those receiving social security benefits.Please bring your questions and concerns.

    New Zumba Gold/Toning Class

    Put a smile on your face and come dance with joy on Fridays at 5pm beginning June 14th in the Community Room of the OfficeBuilding.     Camp Cash Fundraiser

    Friday, June 14th at 5 pm there will be a Spaghetti Dinner to raisefunds for camp cash! Come out and help the kids go to camp thisyear! Help is needed to set-up and in the kitchen. Donations of thefollowing items would be greatly appreciated: ground beef, tomato

    sauce, sausage, grated cheese, butter or I Cant Believe Its NotButterand baked goods. All are welcome!

    Childrens Ministry Picnic

    Sunday, July 14th following the last service, we will meet atDansbury Park to celebrate the end of the school year! ChildrensMinistry will provide hot dogs and hamburgers. We ask that all whoattend bring a dish to share. Sign-ups will be in Fellowship Hallbeginning June 2nd.

    Vacation Bible SchoolVacation Bible School is one of those experiences that adultsremember well into their golden years whether it is their ownparticipation or when they volunteered. Personal experiences canbe found in many college entrance essays, and we know of severallove stories that began there, soif you want a potentially life -

    changing experience, you can sign-up to help with this years VBS.

    so come to the round-up! VBS is August 5 to 9at ESUMC. Canyou rustle up some grub, lead a sing-a-long, read a story to theyoungsters or paint some fences? We especially need assistance

    with the PreK group, Kindergarten and the blue group (grades3,4,5). We also need help in music, snacks and nursery. If you canhelp, please contact Lisa at 421-3280 x11 [email protected].
