Electronic Repair Technician

Duties & Responsibilities
Perform routine inspection, testing, and repair of smart phones and other mobile devices.
Accurately document repairs and parts information on repair tracking documents / work orders and in point of sale computer tracking system.
Read and translate repair documents and videos. Share experiences and learning's with other technicians throughout the company via online forums and electronic media.
Perform high quality repairs and refurbishment of electronic devices: phones/tablets/laptops/GPSs/ etc.
Monitor parts inventories and inform management of status.
Dismantle old electronic devices for OEM parts.
Interact with customers as needed, providing exceptional customer service.
Keeps work area clean and sterile.
Performs other duties as required by management, including cleaning of work areas, bathrooms and office environment.

Maintenance Technician
PURPOSE OF JOB
To maintain the equipment and facilities thus supporting all operations in all departments as needed; to
support Area Managers with replacement parts and outside technical services.
UNUSUAL ENVIRONMENT FACTORS
Normal manufacturing environment with some dust and noise.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS TO ACCOMPLISH CENTRAL PURPOSE
1. Comprehend and follow shop procedures, standard practice instructions, prints, diagrams and other written and verbal instructions.
2. Manipulate apparatus and components to required workstations, equipment, stations and positions.
3. Maintain and perform preventive maintenance on the equipment and facilities using computer programs and calibrated tools and equipment.
4. Repair equipment as needed to assure minimal down time and cost. Maintain proper spare parts to insure quick recovery.
5. Call technical support when needed to help troubleshoot or schedule service call. 6. Comprehend and observe all safety and quality standards and participate in Kaizan and Area
Focus Teams. 7. Using manual tools, occasional solvents, and cleaning supplies to maintain a clean and orderly
work area. Additionally support the housekeeping program by removing obsolete equipment parts.
8. To maintain regular and timely attendance, to work in an efficient manner, and to work overtime when required, all sufficiently to support the continuous manufacturing process
9. Work in close concert with, and getting along with, co-workers.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Reorganize areas in the facilities to optimize new production methods. 2. Move, install, or repair equipment such as machinery, buildings, doors, floors, plumbing,
electric items, hydraulic items, pneumatic items, lighting, and ventilation as required.
3. Research source and price for materials, parts, and equipment as needed and submit
requisitions.
4. Support environmental programs such as ground water control, disposal of oil and other
used materials, and the eliminations of hazards inside and outside the facility.
EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
High school or GED equivalent with a relevant Tech school or appropriate combination of education,
training, skills, and experience. The Human Resource Administrator can determine whether education
and training are equivalent based on associate’s experience.

PURPOSE OF JOB
To electrically test, troubleshoot and perform a quality assurance inspection on the equipment
manufactured at Line Power Manufacturing.
UNUSUAL ENVIRONMENT FACTORS
Normal manufacturing environment with some dust and noise. Voltages up to 100,000 volts.
Troubleshoot energized circuits with 120 volts present.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS TO ACCOMPLISH CENTRAL PURPOSE
1. Comprehend and follow shop procedures, standard practice instructions, prints, diagrams
and other written and verbal instructions.
2. Manipulate apparatus and components to required workstations, equipment, stations and
positions.
3. Able to use hand tools and air tools.
4. Determine proper method for testing various components.
5. Complete testing, troubleshooting, and inspection of simple to complex electrical,
electronic, and mechanical components and verify proper or faulty components.
6. Interpret documented engineering and customer specifications and quality inspection
requirements.
7. Able to determine quality of workmanship as well as operation and function of electrical
circuits
8. Assist with special work assignments as assigned by the Area Manager or designee with
appropriate instruction and supervision provided.
9. Comprehend and observe all safety and quality standards and participate in Kaizan and

10. Work with Engineering and design personnel to help solve problems and correct
documentation for future use.

Network Support Specialist
Network Support Specialist - Registry Position
BVU Authority BVU is seeking a Network Support Specialist for its registry pool.
Primary Duties
Primary duties are to include technical support of telephone, video and data, and traditional service
networks, respond to customer inquiries, promote products and services, and resolve problems of any
other nature. Customer interaction will be by phone and email.
It requires critical thinking skills, a strong technical background, and excellent customer service skills.
The ability to take a large volume of customer requests daily is required. Experience in a call center, help
desk, telecommunication, or any utility environment is preferred.
In-House Network Support Registry Pool
Registry employees are not promised any specific hours or shifts. Registry employees will fill Part time
and Full Time positions to provide staffing when employees are on vacation, sick, leave of absence or a

General Responsibilities
Oversees staff that maintains station operation through preventative and corrective maintenance
Establishes routine maintenance procedures and schedules for all broadcast equipment
Oversees and assist with the installation and maintenance of control consoles, audio routers,

control systems, remote equipment, etc.
Works with local management to coordinate remote broadcasts as needed.
Responsibilities include compliance with FCC rules and regulations, budgeting, and 24/7 on call.

Knowledge of electrical systems, UPS, and standby generators and record keeping
Knowledge of telephone systems and protocols including POTS, ISDN, T1, DSL and PRI circuits
