SUNDAY, AUGUST 27 the Concours Auto Show in will be in downtown Geneva. As a result, you have three choices for worship —
Saturday night in the chapel at 5:00pm; Sunday 9:00am service at GLC and 10:30am worship at Wheeler Park, north pavilion on
Route 31 in Geneva. Our parking lot will be available for your use all weekend.

Is it dark in here? As I approach my 50th birthday, I’m noticing lighting more often. Things that I can read easily in day-
light, become a blur of black dots in dim lights. It’s a matter of perspective for me and I think for the folks in Ephesus
too. Is it darker now in the world—or do we just need to find the brighter places to see clearly? God, in so many ways
you call us into the light, guiding us to see how we can join your work. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Andover Seminary in 1887. Though using words like ‘conquest’ and ‘battle’, it truly is a prayer calling us to acts of love
