Jesus, with us through the wilderness,

Be with us as we wrestle with loss, Be with us when we lose our footing,

Be with us as relentless days cycle round and round,

Be with us as we face uninvited reality and uncomfortable truth,

Be with us to reveal something new, Show us the water flowing right under our feet

Amen.

We are looking forward to welcoming all children back to school very soon, on

Monday 8th March. It will be great to have everyone back and to re-establish the

school routines we know the children thrive on. A letter has been emailed to all

parents earlier this week with further information and if you have any concerns

about your child’s return please contact the school either via your child’s class

teacher on Dojo or the school office office@reculver.kent.sch.uk

Word of the Week Quiz

Perdure may be an unfamiliar word to lots of you, those seeing a

link to the synonym endure are quite correct. Perdure was borrowed

into Middle English from Anglo-French and traces back to the Latin

verb perdurare, meaning "to continue".Perdurare, in turn, was formed

by combining the intensifying prefix per- with the verb durare,

meaning "to last." Durare is also the ancestor of the English words

endure, durable, indurate and during.
