Four grants and three sub-categories offer plenty of opportunities: Seniors Grant (up to $2,000) – for local seniors groups to enhance existing programs or encourage new activities. Capacity Building Grant – 3 sub categories (up to $3,500) – this grant program is for all groups including new and small groups to help boost their growth potential. The three sub-categories are for Events, Emerging/Small Groups and a General which includes arts and culture. Sports and Recreation Grant (up to $3,500) – for local sporting groups and clubs to develop programs that encourage community participation in sports, recreation and physical activities. Community Projects Grant (up to $5,000) – for special projects to help build a cohesive and connected community, based on inclusion, enhanced community well-being and cultural growth. Need help to prepare your submission? Free Information Sessions will be held for applicants to: • Identify which Category or Sub-Category best suits your objectives • Prepare a competitive submission • Explain the assessment criteria.
