ILSe JacobSenAllow us to introduce you to the woman who turned the dreary rainboot in to anything but a downer. Ilse Jacobson has done a lot of things in her life before she made over the famous (un)fair weather footwear in to a must-have closet staple, including owning a restaurant and studying political science. Now going into its fifteenth year as a global company, Ilse Jacobson boots continue to warm hearts and feet with her signature bright colors, resilient materials and perfect styling. Based in Denmark.

gee wawaSound it out and you’ll find that the name is reminiscent of a certain wee dog breed that trembles at the slightest provocation. Fittingly so, because Gee WaWa is nothing if not provocative. This newly formed brand’s laid back Northern California roots belie their taste for strong, European-vibed high fashion footwear. You’ve seen their famous creations on models, the fashion forward and the fabulous since 2009 and now their latest collection can be all yours, now and forever.

paLLadIumOriginally founded in 1920 as a tire company for WWII aircrafts, Palladium switched gears in 1947 after demand for their advanced rubber decreased dramatically, thanks to the end of the war. After that, they opened a footwear factory in Pont de Cheruy, France and created the legendary Pampa boot – a boot so tough, comfortable, and durable that they were worn in combat by the French Foreign Legion, an elite military unit. For over sixty years, Palladium has been producing authentic, rugged and cutting edge footwear and continues to be a world leader in quality.

ZurIIckFounded in Utah back in 2005, Zuriick was created by two guys on a mission to create a shoe that was sleeker and more style-friendly then the typical sneaker offerings of the day. From humble beginnings, Zuriick has now grown in to a fully realized men and women’s label within America’s heartland. Their aesthetic is based on clean lines elevated by post-modern pops of color.
