Week 7 Learning from Home Schedule You will need help from a parent/carer, a device that is connected to the internet, some blank paper or a workbook and a pencil. Please use Mathletics, Reading Eggs and PM online apps to support your learning at home. If you need login details for any of these, please contact your teacher. Please don’t hesitate to contact your class teacher if you have any queries or questions. Please submit highlighted work plus any other work that you would like to share with your teacher.
Daily- Any time of day
Fine Motor/ Physical Task Fitness Bingo
Choose and complete a couple of the bingo squares a day. Try to complete your whole bingo card by the end of the week. Have a parent initial each box after completion of the activity using the drawing tools on Seesaw or write on a paper copy. If you really want to show off, have a parent take a photo or short video to attach so we can see you doing the activities.
OPTIONAL Weekly project
Week 7 Project: OPTIONAL STEAM Project - Build a Basket
Design and build a picnic basket for little Red Riding Hood to carry a sandwich and an apple. It must be waterproof. Use the reflection sheet to plan and reflect on your creation.

10-11 Writing - Weekend Recount Write a journal recount about your weekend. Remember to use full stops, capital letters and our important sentence starters when writing recounts. Eg. “First, Then, Next, After that.” Don’t forget to proof-read and edit your recount (use a coloured pencil to edit and pretend you are the teacher marking your own writing!)

(reading and representing 2 and 3-digit numbers) Warm up Write 5 number sentences where the answer is 20. eg. 15+5=20 30-10= 20 2 groups of 10 (or 2x10) = 20 Login to Seesaw to complete today’s Maths activity where you will learn how to read and represent three-digit numbers in different ways. Complete the ‘Roll, write, expand and draw’ number game. There are 2 options: Level 1- 2-digit number game Level 2- 3-digit number game (if you are confident in reading and recording numbers with 3-digits).

Challenge: If you are up for a challenge try writing a second or even third Haiku about your favourite season.
