WEEK 5 NICKY GUMBEL: “UNITY” (2011) God is up to something! Through the wonderful works of the Holy Spirit, and under his direction, God's building his Church. The measure of unity in the Church today is the largest indicator of its growth. We need to remember that what unites us as Christians is infinitely greater than what divides us. As believers who are part of a global body, we must showcase the oneness and togetherness of God's Church through the mark of unity, the love of Jesus Christ. In your mind what does a united church practically look like? Why do you think having a united, unified church is important in our world today? What can we personally do to cultivate in the world a positive view of Jesus' Church? What can we use as common ground to bring the Church together globally? What would you say is the main purpose or commission of Jesus' Church? What important lessons have you learned from other Christians and churches in your world?
