Watch the movie with critical eye for characterization. Home Work: Write a characterization extended paragraph. Multi
paragraphs if you like. Cited sources not necessary tonight.

Write a Characterization Paragraph
• Choose One: due Tuesday March 9,2013• Atticus, Calpurnia, Scout, Jem, Tom Robinson
• Make a statement (thesis)about the character. Consider their ethics, morals, beliefs, their position in society and take a position as to what you have observed about their character.
• Then give examples of their actions• Give examples of what others say about them• Not required tonight but if you do cite: Cite your sources with page
numbers after quotes~ “…” (27).
