Compound Information:
Compound 1-
retinyl palmitate (Vitamin A)
Molecular Formula:
C36H60O2
Organic because it contains carbon.
Summary:
Retinyl palmitate is a synthetic Vitamin A supplement. Vitamin A comes naturally
from animal food sources. It’s side effects from overdosage consists of rashes and hives along
with swelling of hands, facial area, and throat. Breathing problems may also occur. You can
also develop certain liver toxicity and too much Vitamin A can also cause birth defects if
pregnant.
Compound 2-
inositol niacinate (Niacin)
Molecular formula:
C42H30N6O12
Organic because it contains carbon
Summary:
Inositol niacinate (also known as vitamin B-3) is said to lower LDL levels and raise
HDL levels. Inositol niacinate may be beneficial to those at risk of pancreatitis because of
the lowering of fat levels. If overdosed, the side effects may consist of upset stomach,
headaches, itching, sweating, and flushing of the face. You may also experience tingling and
the chills. Some of the more severe side effects are
swelling of limbs, dizziness or fainting, black
execrations, and darkening of urine.
Compound 3-
cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B-12)
Molecular Formula:
C63H88CoN14O14P
Organic because it has a carbon base
Summary:
Cyanocobalamin is a supplement generally used for blood cells, the nervous system,
metabolism and for low blood levels of Vitamin B-12. Although side effects are rare with
this vitamin, when overdosed, cyanocobalamin can cause, if diagnosed with anemia, low
levels of potassium in the blood which will affect the creation of new red blood cells in a
negative way. If allergic, cyanocobalamin can cause troubles of breathing, swelling of face,
tongue, and throat, itchiness and dizziness.
Compound 4-
Calcium d-pantothenate (Pantothenic Acid)
Molecular Formula:
C9H17NO5
Organic because of carbon
Summary:
Pantothenic acid (Vitamin B-5) is very easily found because it is found in numerous
fruits, vegetables, meat, and dairy products. It is arguable that Pantothenic acid can be
effective for many problems such as alcoholism, ADHD, yeast infections, heart failures, and
many others. It is advised that you do not consume pantothenic acid if you have Hemophilia
because of a possible chance of increasing the time it takes to stop bleeding. It is said that
pantothenic acid is likely safe for children and
pregnant women as long as taken appropriately and
with care.
Compound 5-
Choline bitartrate (Choline)
Molecular Formula:
C5H14NO
Organic because of carbon
Summary:
Choline is found in many foods and is similar to the B Vitamins. It can also be made
in the liver. Choline can be used for memory loss, liver diseases, mental disorders such as
tourettes, depression, schizophrenia, and seizures. It also prevents neural tube defects in
fetuses. It is possibly unsafe in children and adults if abused or if taken in excessive
amounts. This is thought to increase the risk of colon and rectum cancer.

Compound 1-
Sodium Laureth Sulfate
Molecular Formula:
CH3(CH2)11(OCH2CH2)nOSO3Na
Organic because of the carbon.
Summary:
Used as a foaming agent, can be found in other personal hygiene products such as
shampoos and body wash. Sodium laureth sulfate is from ethoxylation of dodecyl alcohol,
which is derived from coconut oil, and has surfactant and cleansing properties. It is
commonly used because of its inexpensive cost.
Compound 2-
Cocamidopropyl Betaine (CAPB)
Molecular Formula:
C19H38N2O3
Organic because of carbon.
Summary:
Along with Compound 1, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, CAPB is a surfactant and is
derived from coconut oil. It is also used in shampoo as an emulsifying and thickening agent
and reduces irritation that can be caused by surfactants. It is used in conditioners for an
antistatic agent and also has antiseptic properties.
Compound 3-
Decyl Glucoside
Molecular Formula:
C16H32O6
Organic because of carbon.
