SPORTS REPORTER JAMMU: International skaterand staffer of CommercialTaxes wing of the State Exciseand Taxation Department,Aryavir Singh helped the StateRoller Hockey Club clinchbronze medal in the recentlyheld Sir Syed Bicentenary AllIndia Roller HockeyChampionship at Aligarh.

Aryavir led the young side ofShiva Roller Skating Club inthe national level competitionand helped the side take on thebetter opponents confidently.

"There were some good sidesin the competition but theyoung side of ours played wellto finish third," Aryavir Singhsaid.

STATE TIMES NEWS KISHTWAR: Army organ-ised a drawing competition forthe students of High School,Malar, Kishtwar District.

A total of 30 students par-ticipated and created beauti-ful piece of art, drawing theirvision of a modern and welldeveloped state. The competi-tion culminated with prize dis-tribution for the winners andconsolation prizes amongst allparticipants.

The army has alwaysendeavoured to provide plat-form to the young and bud-ding minds to display theirskills and help envision apeaceful and developed J&K.

Army Conducts medical checkup camps

STATE TIMES NEWSDODA/SUNDERBANI:Army organised medicalcamps in remote and farflung villages of Doda andSunderbani, in order to pro-vide door step medical assis-tance to the locals. Thelocals were provided medicaladvice and medicines free ofcost.

The medical camps wereorganised at border villageof Dhok Baniya,Sunderbani and for the stu-dents of Posta Madarassa,Doda District. Both theplaces are remote and donot have access to closemedical assistance.

The local populace appre-ciated this endeavour ofarmy to help and addressthe medical requirements ofpeople from these remoteregions.
