The Care Quality Commission (CQC) has launched acampaign this week to encourage older people andtheir loved ones to share their experiences of healthand social care

However older people are the most regular users of health services Two outof three people admitted to hospital and 70 per cent hospital emergency bedsare taken by those aged 65 and over It is vital that the voices of our growingelderly population are heard

If you are aged 60 or over and receiving care or a friend or family member ofsomeone who is the CQC want you to tell them about the care yoursquovereceived good or bad

By telling them about your experiences you could stop poor care happeningto someone else
