And let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking

our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all

the more as you see the day drawing near.

There is a biblical blueprint for all women going all the way back to Genesis. But God also has a personal calling for each individual woman, whether you are a young 18-year-old, a stay-at-home mom, a traveling executive, an empty nester, a single parent in the inner city, or a grandma.

Fear can be a tyrant, a bully we can’t hide from. It can paralyze our spirit, damage our relationships, and hinder our faith. When we’re struck with fear, where do we turn? Can God really be trusted?

Charm is deceitful and beauty is vain, But a woman who fears the LORD, she shall be praised.

We all have room to grow spiritually in our walk with God. There are core habits and truths that we need to apply in our lives. Our hope is that these classes equip believers to do the work of ministry. Ephesians 4:12 (NIV)

SESSION 1 (August 9 - September 27)

ART OF NEIGHBORINGPHILIP SLUSHER / MISSION CENTEROnce upon a time, people knew their neighbors. They talked to them, had cook-outs with them, and went to church with them. In our time of unprecedented mobility and increasing isolationism, it’s hard to make lasting connections with those who live right outside our front door. We have hundreds of “friends” through online social networking, but we often don’t even know the full name of the person who lives next door.

SYSTEMATIC THEOLOGY: THE DOCTRINE OF GOD (Continues through Session 2)BUDDY GUNDY / WC111This course is a continuation of the study that we started last spring on the doctrine of God. Having discussed the existence of God, the knowability of God, and the attributes of God, we are now ready to explore the great truths of the Holy Trinity, creation, providence, and miracles. Come join us as we continue to grow in our understanding of the nature of God!

EVERYTHING YOU ALWAYS WANTED TO KNOW ABOUT HEAVENKAY JAMES / B255We all have questions about what Heaven will be like, and now the answers are right at your fingertips!

INTRO TO BIBLICAL FINANCES (August 9-30)B220Four weeks of testimonies and teaching from couples in our church.

FINANCIAL PEACE UNIVERSITY (September 6 – November 1)JAMES WINN & JASON COLIP / B220We all need a plan for money. This class teaches God’s ways of handling money. Through biblical, practical steps this plan will show you how to get rid of debt, manage money, spend and save wisely, and much more.

DISCIPLE-MAKING (Continues through Session 2)MIKE TREAT / B260Learn the habits of a disciple and be trained on how to go and make disciples. Disciple-maker groups are designed to build on the last lesson. Therefore, joining this kind of group should only be done at the beginning of the semester.

PRAYER & BIBLE STUDY (Continues through Session 2)GARY SHOWS / WC126A study of the book of Colossians

Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure,

whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of

praise, dwell on these things.

FOUNDATIONS (Continues through Session 2)TULLOS & LIBBY JONES / B254Foundations is a fresh, innovative curriculum about the essential truths of the Christian faith & how these truths are to be lived out in your relationships, your character, and your work.

HOW’S YOUR SOUL?GINA ARCHER / B252In the rush of living moment to moment, many of us find ourselves simply surviving, struggling daily with frustration, restlessness, boredom, and ever-fleeting joy. But if we would pause, we’d find that the things that matter most in life, what we are searching for in our busyness—stability, peace, hope, love—are rooted in the health your soul.

SESSION 2 (October 4 - November 29)

LIFE ON MISSIONPHILIP SLUSHER / MISSION CENTERApproximately 259 million people in the United States and Canada do not have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Life on Mission is an initiative that equips believers to live a missional lifestyle. Living a life on mission is the story of everyday, ordinary believers leveraging whatever levels of influence they have to bring unbelievers to faith in Christ.

Wednesday Nights don’t work for everyone. If weekdays better fit your schedule, here are many opportunities for you to grow spiritually.

MONDAYMOMS IN PRAYER (August 14)CONNIE COLEMAN / WC116 / 8:30 A.M. & 2:00 P.M. Moms in Prayer is a Christ-centered prayer ministry made up of moms, grandmothers, aunts – any woman who desires to pray for children and schools.

TUESDAYLIVING BEYOND YOURSELF: EXPLORING THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT (August 15)JANICE PORTER / WC111 / 9:30 A.M.An in-depth study of the fruit of the Holy Spirit as presented in the book of Galatians. Take a walk through each trait listed in the fruit and be encouraged to know the freedom of a Spirit-filled life. ARMOR OF GOD (August 15)KATHY OWENS / OWENS’ HOME / 9:30 A.M.-11:30 A.M.All day, every day, an invisible war rages around you — unseen, unheard, yet felt throughout every aspect of your life. A devoted, enemy seeks to wreak havoc on everything that matters to you: your heart, your mind, your marriage, your children, your relationships, your resilience, your dreams, your destiny. But his battle plan depends on catching you unaware and unarmed. If you’re tired of being pushed around and caught with your guard down, this study is for you. (Call 601.271.2876 for more information)

MOMS IN PRAYER (August 15)CONNIE COLEMAN / WC116 / 9:15 A.M. Moms in Prayer is a Christ-centered prayer ministry made up of moms, grandmothers, aunts – any woman who desires to pray for children and schools.

STRONGER (August 16)CHRISTY MOOREHEAD / WC111 / 9:30 A.M.As we have received Christ Jesus, we are now called to walk in a manner worthy of Him. Strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy, giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in so great an inheritance. Today, because of Christ, you can live stronger.

GENESIS: PART 3 (August 9: new members; August 16: returning)TBD / WC130 / 9:00 A.M.Abraham was called “the friend of God.” What can you learn from him that will ground your faith, challenge your walk, and give you hope for the future?

11 So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, 12 to equip His people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may

be built up 13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of

God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
