Questions will be asked during LA visits and Ofsted inspections, child tracking

SEND PROJECT NDNA is delivering a SEND Champions project
supported by Department for Education (DfE). This project is FREE to support nurseries and practitioners to deliver high quality services.
Free 12 month programme to improve practitioner’s skills in supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities.
What does the project cover?The aim of the SEND Champions project is to work with
early years practitioners to raise their confidence in supporting children with special education needs and disabilities to lead to improved outcomes for all children.
The intention of this network is to enable settings to support parents in accessing early education entitlement through the ‘Local Offer’ and to support individual practitioners across the whole setting.
What support will Champions receive?
NDNA will support the Champions with a range of resources to be able to provide individual practitioners with the guidance they need to improve outcomes for children.
This support includes:
A 12 month programme working with SEND champions to support their practitioner team
Free support, advice and guidance
Free CPD for practitioners
Free audit tools
Free online training and factsheets
Access to other Champions via NDNA social media
