The Dickens Inn is a picturesque restyled and reconstructed 18th century pub and event venue nestled in St Katherine

Docks. It boasts three floors of flexible hire spaces, with an experienced events team and range of bespoke food, drink

and entertainment packages tailored to your occasion.

This historic venue is fully licensed for ceremonies, plus offers a private bar, dining room, dance floor space and music

license until midnight.

With ample outside space on the terrace and flower-bedecked balcony, and unrivalled views over the dock towards Tower Bridge and the Shard, The Dickens Inn ensures a stunning

SPACES

The Dickens Suite Maximum capacity: 200 standing, 150 seated

Our spacious and bright function room has beautiful high ceilings,exposed wooden beams and large picture windows with views over the dock towards

Tower Bridge. In a purpose-built extension to the original Dickens Inn, the room is stylishly finished to complement its historic setting and can be set up

to accommodate ceremonies, dining and dancing!

The Pickwick Room Maximum capacity: 140 standing, 120 seated

Located on the first floor The Pickwick Room is a spacious, versatile space with a balcony dining area perfect for enjoying the stunning views of St Katharine

Docks. It can be set up to accommodate a variety of dining or standing reception requirements.

The Copperfield BarMaximum capacity: 100 standing, 60 seated

The Copperfield Bar is a spacious ground floor lounge area with its own bar and comfortable seating. It is the perfect spot to host either a formal or relaxed

party, with access to a large terrace area adjacent to St Katherine Docks.

PACKAGES

Our wedding reception packages start from just £65 per head, with tiered dining options, and customisable add-ons for daytime

and evening receptions. Bespoke drinks and entertainment add-ons are also available.

Hire includes your event manager, waiting staff and cloakroom.Our experienced event team will be happy to discuss the best options to ensure your special day is perfectly tailored to your requirements.

WHAT SIZE ARE YOUR FUNCTION ROOMS?We have three dedicated function rooms, the Copperfield Bar is our ground floor

lounge bar, the Pickwick Room is a first floor, balcony-adjoined private space, and the Dickens Suite is a bright and spacious room with beautiful high ceilings.

Dimensions: Dickens Suite: 18x12m, The Pickwick Room: 18x12m,

Copperfield Bar: 15x12m.

WHAT ARE THE CLOSEST TRANSP ORT LINKS? The venue is within easy reach of public transport with the

nearest stations being Tower Hill and Tower Gateway (DLR). Both are just a short five minute walk away.

ARE THERE ANY 24 HOUR TAXI COMPANIES IN THE AREA?

DO YOU HAVE ANY NEARBY PARKING? There is no long stay street parking available in the area. The Docks have their own parking priced at £60. It is an 8-10 minute walk to the Minories car park

(320 spaces) at 1 Shorter Street, London E1 8LP.

WHAT TIME IS YOUR LIVE MUSIC CURFEW? At midnight.

WHERE CAN I STAY NEARBY? There are numerous hotels in the area to suit all budgets,

we recommend CitizenM Tower of London (9 minutes away) www.citizenm.com.

DO YOU HAVE DISABLED ACCESS? Yes, we have lifts, slopes and disabled toilets.

CAN WE BRING IN EXTERNAL CATERERS? As the Dickens Inn has a dedicated events kitchen we cannot permit external suppliers. Please do talk to us about any special catering

requests and we can advise on what we may be able to offer.

WHAT ARE YOUR DEP OSIT, CANCELLATION AND PRE-ORDER P OLICIES?

We require a 20% deposit of the estimated total to secure your booking. The remainder needs to be paid two weeks prior to the event.

Cancellation policy: If cancelling more than eight weeks before the event your deposit will be refunded with a 20% cancellation fee deducted.

If cancelling less than eight weeks before the event, we will not be able to refund your deposit. For bookings of 10 or more guests we will ask you to pre-order your meals at least two weeks before your booking.
