Located in the Royal Melbourne Yacht Squadron, Harbour Room showcases some

of St Kilda’s most unbelievable beach views.

Complete with a spectacular roof top for wedding ceremonies and cocktails at

sunset, the property boasts a modern and stylish interior featuring American oak

floorboards, an onyx marble bar and fireplace seamlessly combining the original

iconic character with distinctive design and unique furnishings.

and DMX cables.

Harry the Hirer is the appointed in-house audio-

visual supplier. Should you have any audio-visual

requirements, we would be delighted to discuss

this with a Harry the Hirer representative and

include a tailored quotation with our proposal.

Alternatively, you may prefer to speak directly with

our representative regarding your particular needs.

ROOFTOP FURNITURE

CAPACITY

Your wedding ceremony can take place on the

Harbour Room ‘rooftop’ which boasts remarkable

views and sunsets over St Kilda pier & Port Phillip

Bay. Enjoy your next celebration dancing on the

roof. The ceremony fee is $2,000.00 this includes

one additional hour to your wedding duration to

incorporate your guest arrival and ceremony timings.

Your ceremony set up includes white chairs,

an ivory carpet and signing table.

In the case of inclement weather you can hold your

ceremony within the Harbour Room for $1,200.

Should you wish to add the rooftop without your

ceremony, this hire is $1,000.

CEREMONY

Staging can be arranged with your Events

Coordinator. Pricing varies from $660.00 to

$1,200.00 inclusive of GST and delivery depending

on the size of your stage.

STAGE

Harbour Room provides rectangular tables which

come in 1.2m2 modular allowing you the flexability

to create your ideal floor plan. Our packages include

white or black linen.

DETAILS

Upon confirmation of your event you will be

introduced to one of our Event Coordinators who will

assist with all of your wedding plans, menu design,

floor plan creation and assist with your suppliers, and

entertainment options.

We are fortunate to partner with some of the most

creative events people in Melbourne and with them

they’ll ensure that even your smallest detail makes

the biggest impact. We look forward to working with

you to create a memorable occasion for you and

your guests.

SERVICE

A deposit of $3,000.00 or 10% of the minimum food

and beverage, whichever is the greater, is required to

confirm your booking.

The amount will be applied against your prepayment

invoice. Interim payment due 120 days prior to the

event, 60% of the expected event cost is payable.

Final numbers are due 10 days with prepayment

required 7 working days prior to your event. If you

are writing a cheque, please make your payment to

‘food&desire’.

DEPOSIT

A minimum of one security guard is required for every

event at Harbour Room.

The guard is required on site at the venue half an

hour prior to your guests’ arrival, and hour past your

guests’ departure time. Please allow $55.00 per hour

per security guard inclusive of GST.

Please note final guest numbers and the nature of

event may require additional security.

SECURITYfood&desire is privileged to work with some of

Melbourne’s best wedding suppliers from stylists,

florists, entertainers, DJ’s, celebrants, prop suppliers,

photographers and more.

Our suppliers list is available upon request and on

confirmation of your wedding.
