We require that you have food

available to your guests during your event from one of

our approved caterers listed below. Outside caterers are

not permitted as we have thoroughly vetted partners

with whom we maintain strong relationships.

Your selected caterer is responsible for

providing bartenders, linens, cups, and beverage napkins.

If you decide to go with a full open bar, your caterer will

also be responsible for providing sliced fruit and fruit

juices to be used as mixers.

Potomac Riverboat Company provides all liquor, beer,

wine, soda and water aboard the Cherry Blossom.

Cherry Blossom weddings allow you to choose which state you want listed on your license:

We suggest that you contact your event coordinator to schedule.

We allow for you to have a 45-minute rehearsal, free of charge, the day before your wedding. Available times will varydepending on weather or if we have a charter booked.

Be sure to discuss exact timing with your event coordinator. Of course, the sooner we know, the better we can accommo-dateyou!

For a D.C. LicenseYou are considered in DC as soon as the vessel has untied from the dock since the waters surrounding the Alexandria City Marina are in fact D.C. waters.

For a Virginia License The vessel must be tied to the dock, which is Virginia soil, during the ceremony. Once the ceremony is over, the vessel can then untie from the dock and you may begin your cruise.

For a Maryland LicenseThe vessel must untie from the dock and cruise south past the Woodrow Wilson Bridge until you are just past Gaylord National Resort. At that point, you are Maryland waters.
