Terms & Conditions

• In order to confirm a wedding with Occidental Hotels & Resorts a non-refundable deposit of $350USDis required. This deposit will be used towards wedding extras or the wedding package chosen.

• Final payment is due (30) days prior to wedding date.

• If event is being hosted on the beach, there is a set-up fee that applies. Please discuss with yourwedding coordinator for more details.

• Any guest(s) attending the wedding but not staying onsite must purchase a wedding pass in order togain access to the hotel. It has a fee of $50USD/person.

• A fee is charged for each third party vendor contracted that is not a preferred vendor of the hotel.

• Photography/Videography: Ana Mackintosh Photography holds the copyrights of the wedding pictures/images taken in the resort; in case the couple hires an outside photographer/videographer, there is a fee of $300USD that applies. This fee can only be waived if the photographer/videographer stays in the resort for a minimum of 3 nights.

• Weddings that have more than the package inclusion of guests will incur additional costs. Please seeyour wedding coordinator for more details.

• If couple cancels the wedding ceremony forty-five (45) days or less prior to wedding date, there willbe no refunds of any kind.

• Government taxes are subject to possible modification without prior notice due to changes ingovernment regulations.

• For inclement weather on the day of the event, the decision to change the plans for evening eventsshall be made no later than noon. For morning events the decision must be made by 6pm the eveningprior. If the couple requests changes after those times indicated by the hotel, a setup fee will becharged of $15USD per person, per event as a result of the late notice of change of plans. Services notrendered due to adverse weather conditions will not be reimbursed.

• If a dinner reservation is included with your package, the reservation will be held for fifteen (15)minutes. If arriving after 15 minutes, you have forfeited your reservation.

• Floral selections are subject to availability depending on time of season.

• You may opt to bring your own décor however there are set-up fees involved. Please consult with yourwedding coordinator for pricing.

• Couple may rent items from hotel but they are the hotels property and may not be taken home.

• Certain items cause environmental damage to the ecosystem and local wildlife; items such as balloons,artificial petals, wish bottles, confetti and wish lanterns are restricted. Any candles brought must bebattery operated. The use of fire is prohibited in indoor locations.
