Ceremony...The Pool Deck
Begin your special day by hosting your wedding ceremony outdoors, on our stunning Pool Deck. With a separate entrance, the venue accomodates your guests while they wait your arrival; and while you take your photographs. A non-alcoholic welcome drink will be served to your guests
upon their arrival, or after the ceremony - either on the Pool Deck, or overlooking the magnificent 18th green.
During the ceremony, listen to the water gently lap behind you, as your guests enjoy the cool breeze. Exchange vows under the gorgeous ceremonial gazebo.
Simbithi Country Club will facilitate the hiring of white Ancona plastic chairs on your behalf, should you choose to hold your ceremony on the Pool Deck at an additional cost of R15.00 each -
including chair covers).
Please Note: Chairs are for use on the pool deck only. They may not be used for the ceremony and then moved into the reception venue.
Reception...The Pavilion Room
Our largest, most versatile venue. The Pavilion’s uniqueness lies in offering its guests an unfiltered view of the spectacular Simbithi Golf Course, with distant views of the calming Indian Ocean.
The fully air-conditioned Pavilion holds a minimum of 80 guests, and a maximum of 180.
Venue Hire: R20 000 (incl. VAT), incorporating the following:
1. Structural set-up of venue, reception and ceremony i.e. tables, chairs, dance floor, stage and ceremony chairs. Layout and logistics to be discussed with Events Manager
2. Ceremonial gazebo – Pool Deck weddings only3. Red carpet, from the entrance to the Pavilion Room
4. 1.8m banqueting round tables; seats 10 guests per table5. 1.2 x 4.3m platform / stage
7. Exclusive use of the venue until midnight - not exceeding nine (9) hours from commencement8. Standard steel-framed chairs, cutlery, crockery and glassware for maximum 150 guests
9. White OR black chair covers for 180 guests10. In-house service staff, including Floor Manager, waiters and bar staff
11. Podium for speeches12. Free and secure parking
13. 4.5. x 4.5m brown, wooden dance floor14. A generator in the event of a power failure
Please Note: You will be charged for a minimum of 80 guests. A surcharge of R5000 applies on Public Holidays.
Photographs...The Fish Eagle Dam
Create lasting memories of your fairytale wedding with a photo session at the exquisite Fish Eagle Dam. Located on the ‘Eco’ side of Simbithi, the Fish Eagle boasts an array of locations for you,
your family and your bridal party to be photographed.
Speak to our Events Manager in order to arrange a photo session, with your photographer.
Please Note: Photography on the Estate is strictly by permission only. Photography of private homes is not permitted. Photography on the Golf Course is prohibited.
Exclusions...Simbithi Country Club is a private entity.
Your guests will be restricted to the specific area that you have hired.The Members’ Bar is strictly for the use of members only and does not form part of the venue hire
contract. An events bar will be in operation for your event.
Kindly note, the following items, are not included in the venue hire fee:
1. Drapery, floral arrangements and decor2. Musicians / entertainment
3. PA system / music / sound equipment /data projector for Pool Deck. 4. Candles and Candelabras. Should you hire candelabras of your own accord, please note these must have cups. We reserve the right to charge for cleaning or replacement of tablecloths due to
candle wax damage.5. Wedding cake and cake knife
6. Photographer and videographer7. Wedding Stationery i.e. menus, seating plan, table numbers etc.
8. Ministers for wedding ceremony9. Any additional catering equipment
10. Canapés and Cocktails. Please discuss these options with our Events Manager.
Please Note: A refundable deposit of R10 000 is required in order to secure your booking. An assessment of the venue, all property of Simbithi Country Club and guests’ behaviour,
will be conducted after the wedding; the deposit will be refunded at Management’s discretion. Management’s decision hereon is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
NB: This amount is addition to the venue hire fee.
