Is there a Bar Set-Up Fee or Bartender Fee? The Hilton Garden Inn Sioux Falls asks that for each bar that is set up for your event reaches a minimum of $500.00 in sales, based
on past events, even smaller weddings (100-150 guests) have hit this minimum easily.
Is there a charge for Linens or Linen Napkins? The Hilton Garden Inn Sioux Falls is happy to offer a choice of standard linen options complimentary. We also offer additional colors
for an extra fee.
What food items am I able to bring into the Hilton Garden Inn Sioux Falls? You are welcome to bring in a wedding cake, as well as nuts and mints for the cake table. If you would like to setup a candy bar as a
wedding favor for your guests, that is also acceptable. All other food and beverage items must be arranged through our executive
chef (in-house catering).
Do we have to obtain a Liquor License? No, this is not necessary. The Hilton Garden Inn Sioux Falls has an on-site full liquor license.
Are the items on the Wedding Menu the only options we have to choose from? If you do not find what you are looking for in our standard menus, our talented and professional in–house catering team would be
happy to create a customized menu for you.
How early can we get into the Ballroom to set up? How late can we stay in the ballroom? There is a possibility you will have access to the event space prior to 8:00 AM if there is not another event scheduled the day prior to
your wedding reception. However, this cannot be determined more than three days prior to your event. Our banquet staff works hard
to ensure everything is set up for your wedding reception and will be glad to assist you the day of set-up. If you wish to guarantee
access to the Ballroom prior to your wedding reception, let your Sales Manager know and they can contract the space for your
requested time. There will be an additional rental fee to guarantee the Ballroom the day prior to your event.
Your reception can run until 12:00 AM. Last call for bar service is 11:45 AM.
Can we store things and pick them up on the Monday after the reception? The Hilton Garden Inn Sioux Falls strives to accommodate gift/decoration storage for our couples hosting their wedding receptions at
our hotel. Check with your Sales Manager to discuss storage options. The Hilton Garden Inn Sioux Falls is not responsible for
cards/gifts/decorations that are brought into or removed from the venue for the wedding reception.
Can we bring in our own items to hang from the ceilings? Yes – you are welcome to bring in items to hang from the ceilings. There will be a charge for the Hilton Garden Inn Sioux Falls team
to hang the items, and your event manager will assist you with coordinating this as well as providing an estimate for the service.
Is there a discount to the rental fee if we book a day other than Saturday? There is a possibility you can receive a lower rental rate if you book a Friday or Sunday for your reception. Rental fees vary by month
due to peak seasons and booking windows. For example, you will get a better deal if you choose to book during the low season
(usually considered the months of November through April). A reduced rental rate can be discussed with your Sales Manager during
your contracting stage.
What is your alcohol policy? To be served alcohol at the Hilton Garden Inn Sioux Falls your guests must be 21 years of age or older. Staff of the Hilton Garden
Inn Sioux Falls will card any guests that are intending to drink at your Wedding Reception. Our in-house catering will provide all of
your alcoholic beverage needs for your Wedding Reception. For any special alcohol requests, please contact your event manager.
What is your payment policy? To secure the Hilton Garden Inn Sioux Falls for your wedding reception you will be required to pay a $1,000.00 non-refundable
deposit. If you need to make alternate payment arrangements, please speak with your Sales Manager prior to signing a contract.
The remaining estimated charges of your invoice will be due 10 days prior to your Wedding Reception. Acceptable forms of payment
include: Cash, Check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. If you decide to include any consumption items for your
Wedding Reception a valid credit card will need to be on file with the Hilton Garden Inn.
