LOCATION The Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino is situated on 15 acres on spectacular Palm Beach. The resort is a tropical oasis, brimming with lagoons, waterfalls and manicured gardens, as well as 1,500 feet of white sand beach. Located 15 minutes from Queen Beatrix International Airport and within walking distance of Aruba’s newest shopping and dining center, the resort offers on-site and nearby entertainment activities. Aruba has an average year-round temperature of 82 degrees and is situated outside the typical hurricane belt.

RESORT OVERVIEWThe award-winning resort captures the essence of Aruban charm offering sumptuous cuisine, superior activities day and night, an exceptional water sports facility, a 16,000-square-foot casino and over 15,000 square feet of special event space. Its 13,000-square-foot oceanfront spa is the most comprehensive spa on the island.

The resort’s 357 accommodations include 27 suites as well as the Palm Beach Club located on the top floor of the Aruba Tower. A LA CARTE WEDDING SERVICESWe offer à la carte wedding services because we believe you should be able to build your Special Day as you want it to be. Please find the price list attached separately. We would be delighted to assist with a quotation for your wedding.

WEDDING CEREMONYIt is possible to get legally married in Aruba and later in the day have your beautiful beach ceremony. In this brochure you will find more information about the documents and regulations about a Civil Marriage at Aruba. You can also decide to get married at home and have your Blessed Ceremony in Aruba. You will need to be legally married prior to the beach blessing.

OfficiantDepending on if you would like to have a religious or non-religious ceremony, we will arrange an officiant to lead you through your ceremony. If you desire, you can have your own personal vows included in your ceremony. If you plan to write your own vows, providing them early in the planning stages is recommended so your officiant can take them into account.

TIMELINE To give you an idea of the timeline for your destination wedding, we created an example for you. We recommend starting your ceremony 45 minutes before sunset. In Aruba sunset varies between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. throughout the year.

In our banquet menus, you will find different options for your dinner choice. You will have several choices to pick from, such as plated dinner, a buffet or stations.

Open Bar / Bar on Consumption / Cash Bar

You can choose between an open bar, a bar on consumption or a cash bar. When choosing an open bar you have the choice of 3 packages: House, Premium and Super Premium. Super Premium includes mixed drinks, bottled American and imported beers, assorted soft drinks, mineral water and juices. You will pay a fixed price for every hour no matter what your guests will be drinking. Bar on consumption means you pay for the bill afterwards based on the drinks that where actually consumed by your guests. When you decide on a cash bar, your guests pay for the drinks themselves. For bar on consumption and cash bar we charge additional fees for set up and a bartender and/or cashier.

Wedding Cake

Wedding cakes are a cornerstone of any wedding reception. When choosing a cake you should consider the following factors. The size and shape of your cake will largely depend, most importantly, on how many guests you have. Secondly, determine what flavor you would like your cake to be. Remember that if the cake has multiple tiers you can select several different flavors to accommodate the diverse tastes of your guests. Lastly, decide on what kind of decoration you would like. Our bakers can create custom decorations on your cake to reflect the theme of your wedding or they can use traditional adornments like lace, embroidery, fresh flowers, sea shells or other items you choose.

If you decide not to go for a traditional wedding cake, another option would be cupcakes. With cupcakes you also have a wide range of options from flavor, icing and design. If you cannot choose, you can combine a wedding cake with cupcakes. Whatever you decide, it is going to be delicious.

DECORATIONSArchAn arch frames your beach ceremony perfectly. There are several different styles available, ranging from wooden arches with fresh flowers to bamboo arches with flowing sheer drapes.

FlowersNo wedding is complete without beautiful fresh flowers. You cannot walk the aisle without a beautiful bridal bouquet to match with your soon-to-be husband boutonnière. We can offer you several beautiful flower options and combinations. Some flowers need to be shipped to Aruba, and seasonality also plays a role.

For all flowers arrangements we would like to hear or see what you like, so please send us a picture of the flower arrangement you desire so we can contact our florist directly and we can check the possibilities.

Centerpieces

Decorate your dinner tables with beautiful centerpieces. If you have a special theme for your wedding, centerpieces are a great opportunity to showcase your ideas.

Other flower arrangements

If you have a bridal party you should consider a Maid of Honor and/or a Bridesmaid bouquet. Most of the time these bouquets look similar but are smaller than the Bridal bouquet. Do you have little ones walking down the aisle as your bridesmaids or flower girls? We can arrange rose petals for them to toss when they walk down the aisle. And how about making your parents feel extra special with a classy corsage?

Table linenTable linens are included in our wedding services. White is typically preferred for our weddings. If you would like to add some color we can provide beautiful table runners or other drapery. Quotations for this can be provided upon request.

Chair covers & sashesFor all of our events we use white chair covers. If you would like sashes to put around the chairs, we can offer a variety of colors and materials. You can pick one color or more, decide to put a sash on every chair or alternate, it is up to you. We are happy to provide you with a quote and help you with any special request.

Other decorationsDetails are what makes your wedding unique and personal. Your wedding theme can be displayed throughout the day with your personal touches. For example, arrange guest name cards on a themed side table. Note that our trade winds in Aruba are strong, thus heavy paper or a unique name display like a sea shell will keep the cards from blowing away.

Or let guests write a note in a wonderful guestbook so you will have a great memento and personal note from your guests. We can arrange a steel pan player that will indulge you and your guests with nice tropical and typical sounds of the island. We also have bands of all sizes and genres, solo musicians like a saxophonist, a guitarist or a violist. Of course these are just a few examples of the possibilities. Let us know if you are looking for some other type of entertainment so we can arrange that for you.

Other entertainmentGet the party started! Let us help you with selecting a great DJ for your wedding. Let him announce your entrance and keep everybody on the dance floor. Let us know what kind of music and atmosphere you would like so we can provide you with more information.

AudioJust want some nice background music for your ceremony and reception? We can provide a professional audio set to connect to your iPod or MP3 player. Make sure you hire an MC so he can take care of your announcement when you two are entering as the new MR and MRS. The resort can provide you with other basic audio equipment if you want a microphone, projectors or screens. If you have other special request please let us know so we can contact our AV-professionals to provide you with a quote.

PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEOGRAPHYWhen your destination wedding is over, the only thing that will be left are great memories and beautiful professional pictures to show everybody when you are back at home. CIVIL & LEGAL WEDDING INFORMATION It is possible to become legally married in Aruba. A civil service can be performed and later in the day have your beach ceremony. This requires the following documents:

• Copies of birth certificate for the bride and groom with apostille (state certification)

• Passport picture page or valid state issued picture ID for bride and groom

• Witness (18 years+) passport picture page or valid state issued picture (minimum 2 witnesses)

• Certificate of no impediment for bride and groom• If currently divorced a copy of the first and last page of the

divorce decree(s) is required• If a widow(er) copy of death certificate is required

FREQUENTLY ASKED WEDDING QUESTIONS- I would like to give my guests a wedding favor. Can I send or ship these favors to the hotel?

Yes, it is possible to do that. Inform the Wedding Specialist of the shipping company

and you will be provided the procedures for shipping. To ensure it will be received at the hotel on time, shipping one month prior to the wedding is recommended.

- Do you have any nice ideas for welcoming/thanking our guests?

If you want to let them feel extra welcome you can let us hand out welcome bags when

they check into our hotel. You will have to make sure the welcome bags, including the content, are here on time.

- What if it rains on our wedding day?

It rarely rains in Aruba. Aruba is blessed with perfect weather year-round and it is also

outside the hurricane belt. In the event there is inclement weather, we have beautiful function space indoors to accommodate.

– How do we get from the airport to the hotel?

The airport is conveniently located just 20 minutes from the hotel. There are several transportation options: taxi service, private car or if you have a large group, a group transfer can be arranged.

– Must all wedding guests stay at the Hilton Aruba?

We welcome all your guests to stay at our hotel, however it is not mandatory. We can

offer special group rates when 10 rooms or more are booked for at least 3 nights.

- Can we decide which vendors to hire for our wedding?

We have a large network of specialized professionals we can provide. We can assist

with your selection based on your wishes for your dream wedding.

- What are the payment procedure for the wedding?

Major forms of payment are accepted – credit card, wire transfer and check. A credit card authorization form is available and must be returned to the resort within 21 days of the event. Payments that are charged to a credit card or a combination of credit cards totaling $30,000 or more are subject to credit card processing fees that are added to the final bill. A deposit of $2,500 is required with a signed contract. The deposit is deducted from the final bill. Tax and service charge plus environmental levy must be added to the room rate. Room tax and service charge is 25.38% plus $3.00 environmental tax daily. A service charge of 22% will be applied to all food and beverage items.

- Can religious wedding traditions and customs be part of our wedding?

We have experience in hosting multicultural weddings with specific traditions and customs. Our wedding specialists can provide you with additional information and options.

- Is it possible to have a rehearsal dinner or brunch the day after our wedding?

Yes, we have several locations that would be appropriate for these occasions.

- Can we select our own vendors or food and beverage?

Working with our experienced vendors will ensure a well-coordinated event, but exceptions can be made. All food and beverage must be provided from the hotel.

- What is the best way to transport my wedding dress to Aruba?

Contact your airline in advance to verify that you can pack and carry on your wedding dress. Most planes have closets available to handle wedding gowns. If not, pack in the largest carry-on suitcase so it is not at the mercy of baggage handlers. As soon as you arrive at the hotel, unpack your wedding dress. The weight of the gown will begin to slowly straighten out the wrinkles when hung in the closet. It usually takes 24-48 hour. We can also arrange to have it professionally pressed.

- Can I create my own wedding menu?

Our banquet menu brochure has a variety of menus for all tastes and preferences. We can also work on personalizing the menu if requested.

- Children will be included in the wedding, are there babysitting services available?

Yes we can arrange babysitting and will provide you with any quotes needed.

- When is it best to arrive in Aruba prior to the wedding?

We recommend arriving 2 business days prior to your wedding to allow time to meet with our Wedding specialists and handle any last minute details that you may need.
