WELCOME TO BOSCHENDAL

Boschendal provides an idyllic and natural setting for any function or event. Surrounded by the breathtaking Groot Drakenstein and Simonsberg mountains you will find many function venues to choose from enabling you to tailor your special event.

Boschendal is located in the centre of Franschhoek, Paarl and Stellenbosch. We are only 45 minutes drive from Cape Town City Centre and 40 minutes drive from Cape Town International Airport. Up to 150 guests can be accommodated across the farm in luxury cottages.

All of our functions are catered in-house by Executive Chef, Christiaan Campbell and his team. Our farm-to-table menus use only the best quality seasonal ingredients sourced from our fields, gardens and local like-minded suppliers. We raise our own award-winning Black Angus cattle, acorn-fed pigs, free-range chickens and harvest most of our vegetables from the organic Werf Food Garden run by Megan McCarthy.

Werf Farm PicnicThe Werf Picnic with its pavilion and fountain provides an idyllic and picturesque setting for a wedding ceremony. Guest can relax under the trees on bean bags, hammocks, backrest chairs or blankets.

Rhone Rose Garden PicnicThe Rhone Rose Garden Picnic is situated under the tall oak trees with carefully-laid out tables and chairs.

Our two picnic areas are ideal for more casual, picnic-style functions.

Making a positive impact on our environment and building a sustainable agricultural farm which can flourish for generations to come is at the core of what we believe.

Our focus is on providing flavourful and nourishing farm-to-table food and working hard to keep food miles to a minimum. Our menus shift with the seasons as our produce is sustainably grown on the farm or locally sourced.

With such a wonderful array of local produce on o�er, it’s little surprise that our team of skilled chefs, under Executive Chef Christiaan Campbell, conjure up a mouth-watering feast for your event.
