For The Whole Weekend

West Lexham welcomes a small number of bespoke weddings each year. You’ll join us for the whole weekend,

with exclusive use of our entire 21 acre estate. Onsite accommodation is included for up to 92 of your nearest

and dearest… from magical Treehouses and Glamping Bell Tents to luxury ensuite rooms and vibrant cottages.

The Ceremony

Most of our couples choose to hold an intimate ceremony at a local registry office, followed by a celebrant-led ceremony on the big day. The beauty of choosing a celebrant-led ceremony lies in

the freedom to create a unique, personal service in a place of your choosing.

Lovers have met between swaying willows and by babbling streams, within the undulating Japanese Gardens and beneath

the vaulted roof of the Barn.

For those with a taste for the traditional, our picturesque village Church, the Church of St. Nicholas, is just across the road and has

welcomed many West Lexham weddings.

The Reception

The large converted Barn creates the ideal venue for an indoor reception, with space to seat up to 120 guests.

But don’t let the walls constrain you… we’ve erected giant teepees for festival themed frivolity and grande marquees

fit for formal fine dining.

Flexibility is where we shine, so if your imagination sparks a special request…we’ll do all that we can to accommodate

it!

The Party

The Barn provides ample space for after-dinner dancing, whether you’re booking a wedding band or raising the roof

with a DJ.

After 11pm you’ll head to the Village Hall. Once a central hub for the West Lexham community, the Village Hall has a

rich history of celebration… ideal for late night partying!

Onsite accommodation is available for up to 92 guests.

Your special day will be over in a flash, so we make sure that you and your favourite humans have plenty of time to

connect and have fun.

Think Friday night hog roasts and outdoor cinema evenings, late night campfires under the stars, morning wild swims in the lake, lunchtime cricket matches and afternoon pool parties… we help to create a once in a

lifetime chance to have all of your loved ones around you for the whole weekend.

Catering

From elegant dining in the Barn to frivolous feasting in a lakeside TeePee,

each couple brings West Lexham to life in their own unique way.

We are partnered with trusted local wedding caterers who bring their own

knowledge and experience to the table. They will work with you to create menus

in line to suit your wedding vision.

You are of course welcome to select your own caterer•, as we want you to

have your day exactly as you want.

Your wedding at West Lexham is exclusively yours so please do bear in mind all accommodation needs to be booked. We can help you arrange this with your guests by providing suggested pricing and taking payment for accommodation. You will be liable for the cost of any

accommodation not booked by your guests.

Sustainability

At the heart of our values sits a commitment to sustainability and enhancing our natural environment.

In fact, we are run over 90% on renewable energy, with all of our heat (including the heated outdoor swimming pool)

powered by our renewable wood chip boiler. Even our delicious drinking water is drawn from our own fresh chalk

spring.

As you wonder through the grounds you’ll notice it’s rich in nature and wildlife. We’ve planted every type of tree and

shrub indigenous to the UK, and our lake is an area of special scientific interest.
