This assignment was really informational. I had a great time finding information about my favorite

childhood author, Dr. Seuss. I learned a lot of interesting facts about Dr. Seuss life, which I did not know

before. It was really hard to find fun facts about Dr. Seuss that children would find interesting. Most of the

information I found would be really hard for young children to understand or care about. Due to this, I went to

the childrens bookstore and bought Who Was Dr. Seuss? With this book and Dr. Seuss personal website, I

learned a lot of great information about this phenomenal author whose books have really stood the test of time.

I think that the information I have found will really attract young readers. I presented it in a very easy to

understand packet and included pictures for simple navigation through the website. This packet would be great

to use in the classroom as a center when the children are learning about biographies and autobiographies. Dr.

Seuss wrote a wide range of books for the beginning readers all the way up to adult readers. These books could

be used to teach young children how to read and older readers how to decipher a theme. I really love how Dr.

Seuss books can be used for many lessons and centers in the classroom. Because of this, children will enjoy his

    stories for years to come!
