NextCare Urgent Care At our clinics, patient safety is our number one priority. With this in mind, we are now offering our Curbside Care program, which allows you to drive up, stay in your vehicle and let us come to you. We especially encourage patients experiencing COVID-19 or viral symptoms to utilize this service. This will allow us to perform an evaluation and, should it be necessary, testing collections from the comfort and safety of your vehicle. Curbside Care allows our patients to practice social distancing and proper precautions while still being able to have their health needs evaluated. If you do NOT present viral or COVID-19 symptoms, you will be asked to come into the clinic to complete your visit. We recommend all patients book a time online at www.nextcare.com to help reduce your wait time at the clinic. To access curbside care please contact the clinic prior to visiting. Please see the clinics below that are offering curbside services.

North Suburban Medical Center To best deploy HealthONE’s resources to meet community needs, our healthcare system will consolidate emergency resources and will temporarily suspend all services at the North Suburban Medical Center Northwest ER beginning Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at 7pm. The main emergency room at North Suburban Medical Center, North Suburban Northeast ER, and each of our HealthONE hospitals and two other free standing ER locations remain open to care for our community. As we continue to prepare and care for patients suffering from #COVID19, we believe pooling our emergency services temporarily is the right thing to do for our community. By consolidating resources, we are able to shift the physicians and other clinical caregivers to the main hospitals. It also allows us to shift resources in the form of personal protective equipment or PPE. To find a HealthONE ER near you visit HealthONEcares.com/ER or call 911 if you are experiencing a medical emergency. Orchard Church Orchard Church is having a food and essential item drive. As a public health precaution, the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge has announced the following adjustments will be made (effective today - April 10, 2020):

- Operating hours for the refuge will be reduced slightly. The refuge will be open from 6:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. daily.

- On weekends (and as needed during weekdays), we will limit the number of vehicles on the refuge to 200 at one time.

These changes are being made out of a genuine concern for the safety of our visitors and staff.

We will reassess these adjustments by April 27, 2020.

RTD UPDATE: RTD Service changes begin Sunday, April 19, across the Regional Transportation District (RTD)’s network of bus, rail and special services in response to a significant decrease in ridership resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic. RTD service will change to Saturday bus service levels and Sunday light rail service levels. Our partners at Denver Transit Operators will also adjust service on two of the three commuter rail lines they operate: Frequency on the B Line, which serves Denver and Westminster, will change to every hour, from every 30 minutes. Trains on the G Line, serving Denver, Adams County, Arvada and Wheat Ridge, will run every 30 minutes, as opposed to every 15 minutes. Current service levels will continue on RTD’s University of Colorado A Line, which connects downtown Denver and Denver International Airport. This remains a vital link for airport employees and those who must fly in and out of DIA. A complete list of service changes is on the COVID-19 service plan webpage. Social distancing will be more important as service levels are reduced. RTD has taken several steps to ensure social distancing across the system, including limiting the number of riders to approximately 15 passengers per bus, 20 on larger buses and 30 on rail cars. If necessary, buses will bypass stops if social distancing limits are reached. Buses will be added to the most popular routes and staged in those areas as available. Also, the area behind the bus operator and wheelchair securement area has been roped off to provide space between the operators and riders. In addition, the public is being asked to use good judgment in deciding whether to board any vehicle. If a bus or train looks too crowded, move to the next train car or wait for the next bus. On the more popular routes, another bus isn’t far behind.

As the coronavirus pandemic continues to change our lives, we want you to know that the health and safety of our riders, employees and their families continues to be the top priority for all of us here at the Regional Transportation District (RTD). We want to make sure you know about the proactive measures we’re taking to keep everyone as safe as possible.

We continue to clean our buses and trains daily, wiping down surfaces, hand rails, hand grips, etc. with industrial grade disinfectant. We are also providing our operators with hand sanitizer and cleaning supplies to keep their work areas clean. We have restricted public access to RTD facilities and are limiting time for our riders to congregate at our Denver Union Station Bus Concourse and Civic Center Station.

Access-a-Ride will suspend five-day advanced bookings, allowing customers to book next day trips only.  All standing orders from Friday, March 20, will be canceled. Customers can call 303-292-6560 to book trips. This information has been communicated to our customers in various ways, through the established customer messaging systems, media release, info on website, etc. These steps will reduce demand for staff and allow us to continue to provide essential trips for our customers. This is not a cut in service, but designed to better serve the customers who do need service during this time. This change will remain in place until Governor Polis lifts the state of emergency.

We are in close coordination with the World Health Organization, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, and the Denver Office of Emergency Management. We have a strong collaboration of partners working together across the region and the state as we all do our part to combat this virus and its threat.

We’ve compiled answers to some of the frequently asked questions we’ve been getting. You can find our FAQs on our News Stop FAQs on RTD’s Response to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
