What most of us consider normal has been fundamentally shifted by Covid-19, but manufacturers who actively embrace the opportunities presented by this new normal could be a step ahead of their rivals when we come out of the other side. Changes could be as simple as staggered break times or as elaborate as robotics and automation on the shop floor.
Using first-hand experience from the success of AMRC Cymru, this webinar will provide an overview of the changes Wales’ food and drink industry can adopt to maintain productive manufacturing in the short and long term.

Food & Drink
The use of the Food & Drink Wales sub-brand at consumer-facing events (e.g. where the food and drink context isn’t obvious) or at trade events where the Cymru Wales brand is deemed too generic to be relevant (e.g. at The Royal Welsh Show).
More effort will be made to reflect the food and drink industry in Wales via all other forms of Wales marketing, e.g. at tourism events; at trade fairs; or via FDI campaigns in future, from now on.
The use of the Food & Drink Wales sub-brand to represent the Food & Drink Wales Industry Body and packages of support offered to industry. In some cases such as straightforward communication about Welsh Government packages of support, the associated marketing material would be branded corporately (Welsh Government), with the Food & Drink logotype included as a secondary brand on the associated material. In other cases, for example when the Industry Board / Welsh Government are trying to inspire industry, then the Food & Drink branding would be applied as the primary brand.
